blackberry not supported android, so embarrassing.. blackberry OS not supported at many platform and less application.. unexpected results sudden turn off problem plz fix this soon.. 3 star rating from me...

Having read all comments previously, I was in 2 minds whether to get Playbook or Kndle Fire. Went for Playbook because of the good price and the 64 gb of storage. What a good choice!!!! This brilliant if you want to use it as it is, and not mess about using google apps etc. I play games on it, take photos and videos; make spreadsheets and word files using docs to go; watch AVI movies converted from DVD's; link it with my Blackberry phone and use it to answer and reply to text messages etc; use it for emailing; pug it into my 42 inch TV, so what a monitor!! It has replaced my pc for surfing the net as it is instantly on, and much quicker to download websites - it has flash player so I can visit sites and watch youtube videos that my 2 sons cant watch on their ipads!! And so much easier to transport than their ipads too!! So stop whinging about comparing ipads to Blackberries - just get one and you will have 3 times the storage for one third of the price of an ipad. It's brilliant - I don't bother with sideloading anything, and it works without crashing, and does all I want to do.

why BB are not allowed to put a games like an android games. and it is no flash in camera and the video cam why not use a zoom in/ zoom out?

I bought playbook 32GB. It worked really good 2 weaks. But now it doesn't turn on. I searched internet and most of the reviews say the battery is dead and can't charge when its off. Plzzz help me...

The black berry playbook has potential, It comes well speced despite no 3g. I like the video quality, the battery life and the ability to port android apps.The screen is very reponsive and has a decent processor speed,there are many low cost Android clone tablets out on sale but the quality and specification cannot match this device considering RIM has continued to slash the price. a good buy!!

It amazes me how stupid and clueless some people are. Why the app was created was because the devices inability to access a full web page because the lack of os browser ability to render a full page "iOS and android". I rarely use apps because the browser on the playbook can access 100% web sites unlike ios and android. Do you use a app on your laptop or desktop to view Facebook? Of course not as the browser can handle the html and so can the playbook. I own a Asus prime and the gf has a ipad, the Asus with Ics the browser loves to shut down and reboot at odd times as for the gf ipad more often she ask me to access web pages with the playbook as her ipad will not load it or parts of it. The playbook is a steal at 149 32gb I use it for work, streaming videos and audio in the car. If you want dollar store piece of crap buy an android and play with all the junk free games filled with malware and ads. If you can't afford a buck or two for a qaulity app maybe you should move back home and live off the parents...

For the price, you getting everything Apple products can do, but more securely but more versatile.
Yes there are less apps, but it's growing, literally on a daily basis, especially with BB10 OS on the way.
With the HDMI connector to TV, who needs a media player.

playbook is a dustbin on which u waste money. no apps available. I bought this only for reading books but no good book reader is available on their website and u can't install third party apps

The blackberry playbook is amazing! It has great apps. And very easy to use! Although I would like it if there was more reading apps! And a question how/what do you use to get money for apps or songs???! Over all everything is awesome!
