Got mine last friday.
The Good:
Great build quality;
Great storage;
Nice Screen;
Great Sound;
Easy to use;
Lots of ported apps out on the web;
Decent back camera, great front camera;
Awesome Multitasking and very good web browser.
Not sure about:
Battery life, sometimes feels great other a bit bellow what I expected.
The bad:
No apps at App world;
Even the few that exist are mostly paid for;
Rubbish facebook app;
Can't get a video call or voip program to work (skype, viber etc);
No Tunein Radio;
No DLNA and no bluetooth file sharing (WTF?!?!?)
And finally, but not least... does Blackberry even know the meaning of the word «integration»? When I am on the video/photo gallery I can't upload anything to FB or share it(no option there and you have to open the FB app it self, not even sharing by email) and even when in the contact app (which is good) and I hit the Facebook link, it doesn't launch the FB app but it launches the web browser and that just tells you how bad that app is, how bad integration is and how good the browser is.
Not sure if I will wait for BB10 or simply send it back.

All the Features you just mentioned are on android as well. Though when it come to multitasking the Playbook's QNX OS dominates. Nothing comes Close in the mobile space, hell, it could compete very well in the desktop space as well. I'm considering switching from an android phone to BB10 depending on how development goes for BB10 because of how impressed l am with the playbook

BB10 will definitely come comes next year january. Even OS 2.1 is even smoother than any other OS in the market because of its QNX backbone. Imagine how BB10 will be,l just cant wait to see january 30 2013.

If actually you have the powerful playbook,download file browser from the appworld and you will be good to go. Don't forget BB10 is coming to the playbook,so you better keep yours now or you will be looking for a way to steal one next year. That the apps do not good UI is as lame as the writer . Go to your bank,obtain a master card and buy quality apps,you will get value for your money. Have you compared the playbook OS with other tablets OS? Please do if you have not. Playbook's OS is the best in the world, even apple guys acknowledge this fact, dig deep and come to a realization of the truth. Don't follow the media, follow your brain (especially if it is healthy )it will not mislead you like the media

Playbook is definitely the king of tablets. My boss has an ipad, but he does envy my playbook whenever we are the same website or whenever i am playing music. Lack of flash and java support is a game spoiler for ipad. When thinking REAL tablet,just forget about anything android,those are for kids who only need tablet for games. Talk of security, talk Html5,java,and adobe flash support. Those of you who spoke of bad experience with playbook are just being biased or you dont know how operate the device or you are not mentally stable enough to use the device. Do you know what QNX is? The best OS in the world by all standard. You will not know what you are missing until browse with ipad and playbook side by side. When playbook gives you real web experience and ipad gives you pixated page,then you will know what you are missing . Think hatters, a berry is a berry,no comparison.

in this, apps are very poor in terms of user interface.
for example, you can hv good picture in day time with camera, but you can't retrive well as no sorting option to see fast or upload to any site if pic are in hundreds.
i am user of playbook from last 6 months and wasted almost 4K for buying apps still not comfort.
go for other tablet even more costly like samsung or apple.

It depends on your needs. For business activity, i refer you to playbook. But for fancy and games, maybe you should buy android. Nooffenseplease
