To all those snide comments and the reviewers out there, its pretty clear that none of you know anything about BlackBerry except it's name.
You are simply commenting on the price of a flagship product of a brand without knowing anything about it. Porsche is a flagship product BlackBerry like Vertu is to Nokia(If you have heard about it).
The comparisons made here are like illogical.

As nice in the hands as a BREITLING or ROLEX on the wrist. It keeps its value and like its earlier version P9981 after some years you will sell it even more expensive. It's just like gold!

Those who want to show their status, they will buy this phone. But they don't even know, how to use technology. Yes it's true, this phone is perfectly match with below 1000 INR (150 $) android phones. Rich people with Poor mind(gadget).

Who can afford this kind of cellphone? Who will buy? Blackberry make a mistake in doing this, due to stiff competition in the market they should find a solution for the people to afford and buy. But for me I will buy 2 iPhone than to have this, guys it make sense isn't it.

Great phone...will buy one soon. The size is perfect for my pocket..im sick of carrying around plasma tv sized phones in my pocket then holding this plasma tv to my head to talk ..this is a phone a real man should have..iphones,Samsung's..etc etc are for the girls,kids and everyday average Joe ..

I think its price is low. Very cheap mobile by blackberry. Its price should be 99999999 million dollar. Best of luck blackberry for your future career. I think it is price of ego. And this price of ego is paid by those blind buddies who dies on the name of brand name..

My experience with this phone is mix because the keyboard look so good but not versatile as some old blackberry.My real problem most of time when I took some pictures ( I only use this phone when I go for meeting ) and to my friends always ask me " Dude, are you using potatoes camera to picture he serious task?".So if you don't mind lack of apps, camera and keyboard. This phone is great but I recommend you by the leather back plate in Porche design store because out of the box this phone come with glossy back cover which prone to finger print and scatch.
