AnonD-282509, 26 Nov 2015We are waiting so long for android in BB. Priv has got supe... moreThe new Nokia Lumia 950 will cost around £300 less than the priv. And the specs are higher in every aspect. Ah, the QWERTY. "Hey, look at the keyboard!" - "No need, I hear it (crackle crackle)". Plastic all over the place. Marchmellow is not installed but the phone was made of? It's not a sponge. It's a Blackberry. I lent my iPhone 6 to a friend till he will get his upgrade. ATM I'm using the BB z30. The phone is okay, and I bought it brand new and unlocked for £178. I guess the priv will cost not more than £350 in spring 2016. They want £650-750 atm on Ebay. It's a joke.

I really liked the features and the QWERTY keyboard. The edges adds a value too. But the price "you kidding me?". Wayyyy too expensive.

We are waiting so long for android in BB. Priv has got superb look & performance is amazing. Only thing they have to reduce the price. They have to compete with the current dynamics.
As i am the core addict of BB, i request BB Team to look the market pricing before launching the product.

If you compare the benchmarks of bb priv, iPhone 6s and the latest Samsung, bb was built in 2013 or even earlier. If they lower the price by at least 50% they might have a chance. I have my doubts, though...

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2015Sorry Blackberry, but touchscreens and android arent saving... moreMany people still prefer a physical keyboard; that's BlackBerry's market. For those who don't need a physical keyboard, this is simply a nice bonus in the Priv. Who knows? Once you use the keyboard, you may actually like it.
The combination of physical keyboard and hardened Android security is a compelling value proposition for many, esp. those in the enterprise. They may feel it's worth the asking price.
And, btw, I've played with the Priv. Its build quality is premium. Why is it "shitty"?

I think it should come in two versions: Larger screen and virtual keyboard and shorter screen and QUERTY keyboard.
personally I'd go for the QUERTY version.

This phone is a dream come true. BlackBerry users continue to love BlackBerry due to its querty. We just cant get away from it. But looking at the Android OS, were beginning to miss out on that OS. This one retains the qwerty and an Android OS. What more could you ask for. Too good. Good Job done by BB.

hi! twelve days since I get my Priv, by now the best phone I ever had, Passport the second one, Nexus 5 the third place. I use it for work and some fun social purpose, the best experience having the Android environment with blackberry DNA and amazing hardware. I cant wait for the next OS upgrades to fix minor issues and improve the already great performance and productivity.
