I'm not an american, but as far as I know, Blackberry doesn't outsource like Apple and isn't a foreign brand, like Samsung. So it seems strange to me that americans aren't buying their own products and are going after these other brands. If my country had a great phone manufacturer like Blackberry, I would stick to that brand. It's not like Nokia, who didn't really offer anything new these past years and even if they did, they also outsource. Blackberry is really trying to keep up and I think it's doing a pretty good job.

Does the all the BB10 functionalities work with the regular GPRS/3G plan ?
Asking this since the BIS plans are very expensive in India and hence though I would like to buy a BB, I can't coz of the huge cost of plans.

The user reviews and feedback have started to come through on operator websites and S21. Oh dear looks like the q10 has flopped. Not surprising considering ex ceo and directors of BB sold their shares. What a shame for a company luke BlackBerry to go down like this. .

It is a touchscreen that also has the trackpad and most Blackberry users like it, in addition to the 4 dedicated keys for call, end, return and menu. The Q10 is a phone that is for keeping Blackberry's core clients and hopefully getting users back that moved to Android and iPhone. The percentage of users of Android with keyboards that would move to Blackberry Q10 is marginal.

I am finding that most users want the dedicated trackpad and other 4 keys. Additionally, most blackberry users prefer a physical keyboard. Blackberry was targeting iPhone and Android users with the Z10, even though there are some Blackberry users that like a full touchscreen.

Have this phone for one week now. I have found the whole experience very frustrating. Swiping the screen drives me mad. Different screens come up and I have no sense of where I am at at times.. I constantly have to swipe the screen to get to my destination. its a bit of trial and error process. The keyboard is fantastic but I'm seriously thinking of going back to my I phone due to its ease of use .
