You can install Android apps on a BlackBerry 10 device this way:

1. Using Amazon AppStore http://blogs.blackberry.com/2014/06/amazon-appstore/ already installed by default on BB10 OS.

2. Download the .APK file form any other trusted source and install it. Make sure you device is set to accept the installation of apps from unknown sources.

        I have used the Q10 for 2 years and like it well enough . 2 questions< I keep getting messages that whatsapp will not be available after Dec 2016, Is this so ? secondly how do i install a Paypal app ? I go to google play store to download and they tell me i have no devices! what rubbish, and i have no white carrier bag icon on my phone.

            Great device and you can use whatsapp and all after dec 2016. Android apps working. I use them all at the moment :)

              For example, I use frequently these android apps, provided by my network operator, on my phone BlackBerry: Orange Cloud, Orange TV GO, My Account, Football Info, Orange Film.

                      i am planning to buy BB Q10, But previous comments tell it is not suitable for watsapp, Fb, messenger, and IMO from 2017, But I am frequently using the above apps only. so please help me Shall I buy this or not?

                        I've been using the Q10 since the last two and a half years which was after my earlier BlackBerry curve for 4 years. The Q10 is an impressive no nonsense phone for my work as well all other phone uses. One of the best from BlackBerry till the Priv came.

                              The only problem I have with my Bbq10 is "SIM Card not detected". It happens once in a day and I have to wait almost an hour to get the signals back. It just happens for no reason. Many people from all over the world have same problem (Google it). SIM works fine in other devices. Can you guys help?
