I got the phone for free. I fixed it with Blackberry Blend. It is better to buy an up to date phone like a Samsung. I used it watch Youtube, browsing, take photos and video, listen to radios. Most of the app will not work even though you updated to the latest OS.

Still have this phone, and still working fine after 5 years -- except the camera. Mainly used for tethering and mobile hotspot. I also use this as an audio player connected using blue tooth to head unit it my car. The BlackBerry Maps is useful but unluckily the maps is not updated.

I wish they would have moved the screen up a little bit and filled the middle space with the toolbars. This phone is awesome, perfect size, perfect weight, but It would have been better with the toolbars just like the classic. Been using this phone since 2013.

You just feel like its having a real value instead of that boring dull screen. Its fun and very nice experience. I drop my samsung s7 and iphone 6 in thier boxes after downloading play store on my bb q10. Almost all programs can be downloaded on the bbq10 fb massenger WhatsApp telegram Skype youtube and more.

I want to buy a BlackBerry Q10 in 2020... why, you might ask... well I'm not too sure myself. I'm an avid iPhone user (iPhone X) and I still have a deep love for BlackBerry. I kind of want to get one to use it as a social media detox type of thing. Anyways, I found one on eBay for $50 and am purchasing it. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations as far as setup and apps that will make it more livable in 2020?? Thank you!

Overall if you want all the app in your phone,it's better for you to go on a BB android device like Key2 or Key2 LE,which you can access to all the application that you want.Thank you.

brumman, 26 Mar 2020Ok I'm old and the small keypad is not good for me but othe... moreLOL...BB10 was the best OS out there when it was released. Far more useful than ios and android at the time. Lack of Big App maker support at this stage is a big limitation. The physical keyboard and capacitive touch are awesome. For the basics like Docs-2-go, Remember, Maps, Calendar, clock/alarm and message Hub,Calculator, Voice assistant dialing (especially in an auto) all work fine for the most part (there are a few useful apps from its appstore but don't expect tons. Its an older phone. IF you think its garbage i'll take it off your hands instead of putting it in the landfill....I'll even pay reasonable postage.

Ok I'm old and the small keypad is not good for me but other than that just about everything on this device is utter garbage. Someone gave it to me (wonder why!) - no wonder BB virtually disappeared from the market!! Another example of Canadian tech starting out well (apparently) but being overtaken by smart competition. disaster!!!

Zag, 03 Jan 2020The location services do not find my location. In maps.me k... morePerhaps that particular app no longer works on this phone. I use a different GPS app (HelloGPS) and it has no trouble determining my location. I have other apps installed that require the location and they all seem to work well also. I did have a weather app from Canada's The Weather Network that no longer works at all. Accuweather works great though!
The difference between my situation and yours may be that my installed apps are BB10 versions.
