Hi.i have now the BlackBerry q5.and is beutifull.
U can use the data plan of the sim(no BlackBerry plan need,called vodafone in romania to be sure)
The only thing u can use only 3g and 4g.no 2g in menu to select.
Battey is one day heavy use for me
Tipyng is awesome.
And i have istaled Play store from android and every thing workes.(or u can instal apk. Files)
The phone is the best for me,no lag,swipe menu is very simple.etc recomand this phone to all.

Hi All,
My question is related to BB Q5 and Q10; also Torch9810
Can anyone please clarify with 100% certainty that we do not need a data plan or BB service/contract to run apps like whatsapp, viber, skype,linkedin, olx etc
Plus we can do emailing and browsing with simple gprs..Please share your first hand experience for OS10 BB sets and OS7 too as Torch9810 has OS7
And which is a better phone (as qwerty keypad and battery timing)? I want to use it as a secondary phone with good qwerty keypad and long battery hours

Upgraded from a 9320 to Q10 yesterday.
What a nice phone.Every thing is different about BlackBerry10.I do miss the hour glass(spinning clock).

hello everyone,
I planned to change my phone to this one, and I admit previous BB generations have very bad battery backup. How about this one? will it last more or less 2 days with moderate use? my phone usage is only about email, open word excel ppt, bbm, whatsapp, and messaging, phone call +-30min/day, browsing about 1 hour. I very rarely use my phone to play games

I cant see the point in getting Q10 because despite some minor distinctions they are all the same.
In my opinion you should better go for Classic :)
