sri, 13 Apr 2014Black Berry Q 10 where are the ringing tones are available?Don't worry at first it was the same for me I ddnt know but u will have to sWip the screen from the top downwards go to notifications and then go down to aplications go to the app u want to set up then it will tell u hoW loud do u wana set it and if u want it to vibrate the it Wil give u the the tone options then u choose

I have Z10 and it never acted up in any way, been reliable both on 10.1 and 10.2.1. Its true that BB10 is slow in booting up though, takes a lot of battery juice while booting as well.

I've got the Q10 although calls are clear however, since owning the phone it has froze on me! (twice) I used to own older BB's and the same happened and thought it was the software and didn't think it would be on the Q10 as the software is all new! When trying to reset by taking the battery out it not only takes ages to load back up but on many occasions it just doesn't switch on! Thankfully NO emergencies have occurred YET! I now own two phones as I cannot reply on BB! Good looking handset and business like but that's IT! Not reliable!

Strange because i had already upgraded to 10.2 when i could not make it work. The only thing that happened was that i restarted my phone today (turned it all the off while i was in cinema instead of just silencing it), maybe that did the trick. Thanx again.

edlyn, 01 Apr 2014I love this fone! I just wish some Android apps can be used... moreYes BB has great service in Ph. The problem is that Q10 cost 19,990, thats really too much when Z10 cost only 12,990.
I think 15k would have been the right price for Q10, at 20k people tend to go for the OS7 qwerty devices that cost only half. BB need to sell more BB10 OS phones and the Q5 is not the phone to convince people to switch from OS7.
Also, it seems that lots of OS7 users arent aware that BB10 OS supports Android apps, and some who are not familiar with BB think that the new ones run Android OS lol.

What a disappointment.... I had the 9900, the 9800, the one before that and the one before that.... The reason RIM is going down the toilet is simple, the product is getting worse.... This phone has some good ideas, but it needs the track pad, and dial and hangup buttons. The phone firmware is flaky! it doesnt start properly after being turned off, needing to be rebooted from a reboot is not ideal! The connection with Link software on MAC is appalling , sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. The keyboard is the best thing about this phone, but it isnt enough to make anyone want it! And trust me, thats saying something because I hate iphone and samsung touch screens..... I should have reaslised that I could buy a replacement 9900 for the same price as they are selling the Q10! Says it all really! DONT BUY THIS.... RIM deserves to be punished...... sadly.

I love this fone! I just wish some Android apps can be used like Nimbuzz & Viber & Ubersocial. Skype works very well. Speaker fone capability is awesome. Recording audio & video are great. Battery is average. Don't use u'r 3G/4G if u want long lasting battery lol. My BBQ10 never lags bec of 2GB RAM. After sales service in Makati is very good.

BB OS10 is 10times better than any previous BBOS including OS 7.1. The Browser is one of the fastest of all phones. the interface is natural and intuitive. I especially love the slide to the right to peek at the notifications menu. The back arrow to get back to the home screen on apps and the main menu and the time shift camera. The price is a little high but it's the right price for what you are getting.
