I recentlly updated the os to 10.3 ; now the volume up buttons doesnot work; any one faacing the problem; like I did? love this cell though.

I had 8520 then 9720 then q5 and even went to a newer classic and then back to q5.
The main reasons I like the q5, small and light weight. Good touch screen, great keyboard, better than average battery life.
The classic was better in terms of specs but I found the screen over sensitive and the keyboard not as good as the one piece on the q5 and 9720 etc. The battery life was far better before I activated it on a bes 12. I could get days out of it with just browsing and whatsapp. Now its on bes 12 I am getting 2 days on full charge, still better than smartphones.
The down side is that the screen resolution and size is small, but you get used to it.
If you like me and sit on desktop pc most of the day and own a tablet and looking for a mobile phone that is small and durable and good battery with 4g and the rest, then i recommend it out of nearly any other phone at the moment.

What u do think about the battery life? And WiFi and 3G signal and is screen bad when u use it outside doors?
And what about is speakers is it any good?

Does the blackberry Q5 have the same issue with internet/mail like the Curve 9360 running BB OS 7.0? The internet on Curve 9360 would work spuriously without the BBIS/wifi only. Opera Mini, Viber, podcasts does not work without the BBIS. I wonder if these new models with BB OS 10.0 have same issues, or would work flawlessly on wifi only like the androids.

i have a query regarding bb q5 as i have purchase this phone somewhere 8 months ago.everything is working fine, but one day i have noticed that i cant take out sim card from that simcard box.somehow ithas been stucked inside.please help what should i do

im having trouble switching on my bb q5. it worked perfectly, then it wasn't used for about a month. we charged it but nothing happened and it refuses to turn on. its not even 6 months old. please advice

I've had this phone for more than a year now and it's my daily driver. I'm soon moving to the BB Passport, but this little workhorse will remain with me as a second phone.
