I download whats app app for android and it works fine for text etc. on BB Classic and probably others too, to fix the photo sending issue you need to download whats app fixer and it immediately solves the issue.

Hello ,
I've had no issue with Whatsapp on my Q5 & don't understand people's methods on here because it took no real figuring out
1 . Android Phone any - Download whatsapp Apk
2 . Android Phone part 2 - Download App Sender on Playstore
3 . Open App sender & select what'sapp / Send / Bluetooth /
4 . Sent to the Blackberry Q5 and installed with no issues,
5 . Enjoy using the app

To be honest I love my q5. I actually use it for texting and calling...and browsing.i think it's a great phone for a simple life.build quality isn't bad as they say.good combination of a bumb and a smart phone.

Announcement is for support for BBOS devices till 2019 and not for WhatsApp.

I plan to buy this q5 or q10.
I don't need whatsapp and other apps, for them I'm using other devices. I just need phone, sms and synchronize google account.
My question is: how long will bb continue supporting bb10 customers..?
