Again, if you bought it from authorized retailer, you can claim warranty for the repair or full replacement of your unit. Make sure you bring all documents related for your warranty claims. I just hope you didnt bought it from the blackmarket. Hope this helps.

I bought a BB Q5 last month. But I'm experiencing network issues in the phone. I tried with Idea BSNL and Vodafone networks. I'm not getting enough network to even make a call. Whereas the same sim cards work well in a Google Nexus5. I'm fed up with the issue.

At times we take tiny things for granted. I mean Q5 has a beautiful well advanced calculator. I love this phone although lately battery drops too quick

recca, 29 Jan 2015Sorry dude but I refuse to believe that. For your conce... moreFunny agree with your comment. This is a quality phone. Anyone who experiences issues, well, that's what warranty is for. And if warranty doesn't cover the issue, something else is going on. Any tech can go wrong, especially if mishandled.

I can attest to this phone being great. It's a joy to use with 10.2.1, and I recently installed BB10.3.1 (leak install) and it's even better! And with Snap or the Amazon Store, you can easily install Android apps that run beautifully on 10.3.1.

This was positioned as a budget BB10 phone, so there's a perception of lack of quality and cheapness. I completely disagree with that opinion, too; it may not be made out of premium materials, but it feels solid and great in the hand. The back is a bit slippery, but that can easily be remedied with a thin case with grips on the side. The LCD screen is nice and crisp, too. My favourite quality is the battery life -- I get 2-3 days with light to moderate use.

I take a lot of the complaints with a grain of salt -- quite often, I find it's a lack of awareness of what BB10 can do. It's a fluid, easy to use, and efficient OS. The Android emulator overlay is the icing on the cake.

So if you like physical keyboards and want a snappy phone, you can't go wrong with the Q5. Try it out and make up your mind; try to ignore the folks who are projecting the old BlackBerry onto the new.

For your concern, thanks anyway. I have this BlackBerry Q5 for almost 6mos and nothing gone wrong. The good thing is my Q5 comes from an authorized distributor and I can claim warranty if something went wrong. If I you allow me to ask, does your Q5 is well kept and taken care of properly? Any good phone that was not given proper care and handling will end up in disaster. Sorry dude, but on my assessment, this Q5 is above par when it comes to dependability and reliability.

Maybe this is lacking of some fancy applications and games as compared with other OS. But what its lacking has filled up when it comes to performance.

This cell is as awesome as compared to old BlackBerry,

Battery BackUp is better than old BB Models. As it supports Android Apps .apk file extension Android Player which runs the Apps. Also have the Appstore for Android.

This is the only OS Supporting multi-app extension i.e. Both Android and BB Apps.

Performance is Better & doesn't gets heated for overuse. this is the positive point of view.

As Iam using this cell its not hanged yet till now.

No need of restarting the cell after installing or uninstalling the apps.

Very disappointed in this phone, second one I've gotten in justa few months and it's not fully functioning once again. It's gotten glitchy and the key boards on both of them have stopped working and chose to work whenever they want.i never damaged the first one so they had to fully replace it, this one I've had for only a couple weeks, and it curplunking again. I would not recommend.

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2015Is there any possibility to release 10.3 for Q5 model ???Possibly yes. Possibly no. This release is much anticipated. Depending on marketing strategies of BlackBerry, we will wait for this. If this OS release to be done on higher and later models or for Q5, again it all depends on BlackBerry's marketing strategies.

Open the BBVE app ( BlackBerry Virtual Expert) there you can check each hardware and software loaded on to it even sound, gyroscope, light sensitivity, proximity sensor and all of your phone's parameter. Check them one by one.
If any of those test failed, you can directly go to your sales store for a complete replacement provided you bought it from an authorized outlet not from the blackmarket or any seller of questionable reputation. don't worry. BlackBerry can handle it.
