The sim card and the memory card are inserted from outside.

The Blackberry Q5 is my first BlackBerry device and I was very surprised that BlackBerry 10 is smooth on the medium end Q5. I think the processor isn't as impressive as the quad core variants but the dual core performs very well with the BlackBerry 10 OS. I think generally people that get BlackBerry are curious and have watched the youtube videos and like what they are seeing.
The people that have never used a BlackBerry device would shift towards a BlackBerry if their android device wasn't satisfying. Like me, I had a dual core P-02D but it was very slow even after the android 4.0 update.
I think this device is very suited for users still stuck with physical keyboards. If you don't want to change, get a BlackBerry and you can be modernized without having to use a keyboard.

Some where on the internet, I came across a comment from one of the users who mentioned that - India maps as are not properly created by Blackberry partners, so in handset like Z10, Blackberry has provided MapMyIndia maps. But in Q5, we don't have MapMyIndia.
You know sometimes, I think that what for I have paid - 24k - No Maps, No NFC, No LTE....what for they charged so much!!

listen every person those are not using bb10/Q5 please dont comment about BB.i m using q5 last 2 month , my handset is fantastatic n battrey back up good as compaire other smartphone like android

MB, 28 Sep 2013Dear All, i want to ask people who are using Q5 and already... moreyes, I have tried it. there are a lot of Android-converted files in the web which can be used in
BB10 (.bar files). or you can use one of those converting sites to change your .apk file to .bar and then use it in your Q5.
I have tried some, and should say not all of them work properly in BB10. But there are still a considerable amount which can be enjoyably used in Q5...
