My experience with backberry made me hate all blackberry sets with passion. I was disappointed by the inability of my bb curve2 2 read pdf files, pdb, sisx, inability to install java files that exceeds 120kb, inability to install themes unlike my nokia. What i saw was below what i expected from it before buying it. Im switching back to nokia and SE.

Kylie, 19 Feb 2011I have a Blackberry Storm and will say it's good when it's ... moretry to reinstalling/upgrade your operating system. before you upgrade or reinstalling OS, please do 'wipe' before you do application loader.
the operating system can also being shrinked using some software to increase the application memory.
when its finished,try to use Quickpull application which you can download in blackberry app world.
i used to face the same problem, but everything is different now. :)

hi, many people (users) of the storm 2 have issues yet for my case, i have used both the storm 1 and now storm 2 with rewarding outcomes. its the best phone after to BOLD. i integrated a users' tool from the BB application world and the problem of the screen not responding never arises. the biggest proble the phone has is user knowledge. I've used 6 models of blackberry ans this storm 2 is quite amazing.

i am in love with this piece of thing but after reading ths comments, id rather use a beeper than burn my money for ths.,

Feed up and had enough. . .

Thank you very much last annonymous writer for ur post about this phone. My thanks also goes 2 gsmarena for a forum like this making it possible for phone users to voice out their opinions. I appreciate ur efforts towards enlightening both users and 'to be users' of the device they already had or are planning to purchase. I really commend ur effort. It will also please me if it'll be extended to other areas of ICT like computer devices and laptops. After reading a comment from the previous annonymous writer i've come to realise that not all that glitters are gold. I was making plans on how to buy this device i'v been admiring for sometime, but i changed the plans after reading a comment on the phone's weakness. This is the best ever forum rocking.

I purchased this Cellfone. It has been a nightmare right from the Day 1.
Battery gets drained within half an hour.
I purchased another Battery for Rupees 4500. No relief.
I feel highly disappointed and dejected with this purchase and expect others to save themselves from the mental agony and pain it has given me.

MTN apparently fixed it and when it came back it seemed fine for about a week then it started freezing again and to switch it off and on again wouldn't work so I had to take out the battery and put it back. First hand users will know how long it takes for the phone to reboot. I do not know what I missed during all the combined minutes of rebooting. Also the buttons started to be confused like when you press the end key you get the whole menu instead. In the end I could not end calls with the end button because the phone would ask me if I want to exit the homescreen first and if I say yes nothing would happen, if i say cancel nothing would happen either so it was battery out again just to end a call.

I've just gone through my 3rd Storm 2 within a year, and the problem is always the screen freezing, forcing me to shut the phone down or pull out the battery. My service provider has decided to change me onto the Blackberry Bold 9700. I'm really fed up with the Storm's problems.
Some users say that if you turn a screw under the battery just a tiny bit, it solves the freezing problem, as the screws are too tight after manufacture of the phone. Am not sure about this fix, but one can try it, as long as you don't void your warranty.

i bought this phone 1 weeks ago, there is no problem with the software. i bought it second hand. sometimes the issue was freezing the software one day 3-4 times, in my experiences, my storm2 never freez. the condition still good. may be if u got freezing 3-4 times in a day,you have trouble with the software, may be u have to upgrade the software.
i choose blackberry than the others, blackberry is very good.exception for the batt, very low, may be min 1 time one day u have charges this phone.

do not buy this phone.it have issue with touch screen.the touch screen like freezes 3-4 times a day and u have to remove the battery for 5-10 seconds to reset and then put it back.im using this phone 2 months now, and all the owners of this phone have the same issue and nobody found a solution.

niks, 12 Jan 2011guyzzzzz...shud i go 4r bb storm2 9520 or 9550 or go 4r sam... moreit depends for what purpose you want the blackberry for??if it's for email yeah sure go for blackberry but stay well clear from BOTH STORM VERSION 1&2 as they still have LOADS of BUGS.If your fingers are not that bog give BB9780 a shot its worth it or else you can go for nokia e72 as I have used both STORM AND NOKIA E72 and E72 is far more STABLE and hing ROBUST due to the STEEL FRONT AND BACK COVER and ALSO the HARD PLASTIC BUILD of the casing.now if you want email and entertainment all ombined in 1 mobile phone you have 2 options: WAVE 1 if you are NOT going to be after LOADS of apps as BADA OS does not offer loads of apps not to say at all for dwld or ELSE the GALAXY S everything is perferct APART one thing the BACK COVER looks VERY VERY FRAGILE but you can get excellent wallet type cases for this mobile phone.Hope that these few lines will help you in choosing the best handset for you mate:)
