I use d BB 9520. And it has never for a day given me problems. The keypad is amazingly easy to use, the touch super receptive, in my opinion d most stylish BB ever made!

Bought this through a catalogue sim free/unbranded.
I'm not a business user and don't have a contract.
For those of you living in the UK, if you get yourself a pay as you go sim card from Orange, you can have a BlackBerry data plan for £5 a month. This simply gets deducted out of your credit each month. Ideal for those of you ki

sathish, 10 May 2010i am thinking to buy 9700 or 9520 any one reply me which is best?It really depends on your personal preference.. If u like a big nice touch screen phone then go for the storm 2. If you prefer phones with physical keyboard then the bold 2 will be the right choice.

DNWL, 16 May 2010er... Have questions here.. 1. Is BB storm 2 9520 avaiable... more1. Not too sure about the price in msia. But its around 780 SGD.
                    2. No, OS is provided free of charge and the company behind the phone updates the OS on a pretty regular basis.
                    3. SurePress is a kind of technology which RIM (company) have created. What it does is that when u press down on the screen, it provides a tactile feedback and a little click sound, thus making it feel more like a physical keyboard.
                    4. I've owned this phone for 1.5 months already and i have to say im pretty satisfied with this phone. I'll rate it an overall of 7.5-8.0 out of 10.

                    Hope this helps! :)

I have had one now for about a week. This has been plenty of play time.

There are too many choices out there so you need a phone-broker to objectively select your phone for you.

I went from a combo of basic Nokia/Palm Tunsgten to the Nokia N95, then Blackberry Bold. I loved the Bold because it seemed to combine the features I want from a phone the best.

What do you want in a phone? as this first. Check the specs and marry them to your need. Then see which phones get reasonable reviews. Then go and feel them and play with them in the store.

Then buy, and if there are problems work with your supplier and service provider for the best.

Blackberry Storm 2 9520 was not the only choice I had, but I considered my basic needs (communication: phone, speakerphone, email, sms, titter, facebook, Blackberry ,messenger etc). Then I considered that I wanted to try a touch screen (larger screen). Most phones will do the synching, mp3 playing, games, etc so these were not the deal breaker.

I was told I could buy a HTC, Iphone, etc.

At the end of the day, it didn't really matter.

I love my Blackberry Storm for what I really wanted from it.

I am dealing with battery life issues, these are the same with all the phones in the same category anyway. I am shutting down GPS, 3G, wifi, and unnecessary apps, and buying a car charger, and I am happy to deal with it in this way.

The phone is beautiful when I compare it with the 5-10 phones/electronic organisers I have gone through over the last decade.

Things are getting more interesting with age.

Enjoy the ride, the Storm 2 won't disappoint you.
