Hi All
I am using Storm2 9550 with Airtel, I am facing problem of netwrok coverage. Sometimes it doesn't allow me to call and the people who want to call me it shows out of coverage to them.
Does anybody had faced the same problem?
Also on the top it shows "Activation Required" what activation does it mean?

Today also there is announcement of layoff of 800 employees :-( Now days since nokia don't have great touch screen and other technology, they are focusing on camera and music phones only. Infact their smart phone feature are 8MP camera and huge memory for music...what is the point in paying so much for a camera and music phone instead smart phone. I feel there is strong come back is required from Nokia to beat smartphone companies like iphone, blackberry, Samsung etc.

I havent had any problems with the phone at all.
My brother on the other hand did have problems with the phone and received a new replacement from Vodafone (His is branded).
I highly recommend this phone to anyone.
However, if you do get one get the unbranded version, it works better and faster then a branded one.

i do love this smart phone... but i'm not happy with the battery life... hiks... i hope an original BB upgraded and more powerful battery comes up. and by the way, does anyone out there by chance have some explanation what could be the reason why my storm2 9550 doesn't have the call forwarding/call divert function in its phone-options menu? thanks

How about the battery backup?
i just got my new 9550 from us but i am not happy with the battery backup......
it just sucks.....i am nt sure abt other bb models....but overall its worthy.....

I like this phone, i must buy one before it will be discontinued Because of the storm3, wish the storm2 refresh is not cancelled so i can switch to it, i dont like the storm3 rumors with iphone looks, rim you should make the storm3 look like a BBstorm, and not make it look like an iphone, dont be an iphone imitator! Be blackberry! Stick with the original and dont try to look stupid by imitating iphone just like other cellphone companies!

(whenever u touch an icon, that FIRST TOUCH ONLY SELECTS the icon, then when u press the screen it executes ur command.it can do both simultaneously. if that is not the case, do a "BATTERY PULL" and if the same prob occurs, like JRF said "take it in for repair o replacement.

bt i experienced one thing ... moreActually, they are the same. The only thing is, if you use a CDMA carrier, then you need the 9550. If you use a SIM card, you can use either one. They are the same in any other way.
As for the screen, mine is pretty soft. If your friend's phone isn't responsive he should take it in for repair o replacement.
