9550 = CDMA with GSM capabilities. ... moremeans storm2 9550 is better...
bt i experienced one thing in 9550 which is that i saw 9550 whch my friend is using its buttons (phone call , menu, back , cancel)are pretty hard n also the screen too it needs to be pressed twice or thrice then it works, is it a problem with the phone or its like that but my friend told me that the phone is alrite as he gt it new from canada but the videos i saw it seems pretty smooth
so is it a problem with his phone or 9550 is just like that ??

As for the event log, ATL... moreOk, apparently it does but since the newer OS versions don't have Show Keyboard in the menu's list, you need to go to Screen/Keyboard and set one of the convenience keys to Virtual Keyboard and then you should be able to access the Event Log.

In some countries you should be able to buy it. I'm in Mexico and we just got the S2 like 2 months ago, and in the USA, it already reach End Of Life. I personally like my Storm 2 and preferred it over the Torch. Yes, the Torch has BB6 but that didn't matter to me. The S2 has always been on my "must have" list and now I have it. I have no OS issues, and if I did, I can always reload the OS or update to a newer one. For more info on OS and software issues, check out some forums like Crackberry.

mianyu, 28 Oct 2010thanks 4 ur help ok.Glad to see you got wifi working. As for the event log, ATL LGLG won't work on the Storm. I'll look into touchscreen shortcuts and get back to you as soon as I can.
Althugh, in my opinion, clearing the event log won't do anything. The most it cleared up is like 1 or 2 MBs of space. Check your available app memory (options-memory-application memory) and see if it's too low. If you have enough memory, then the key getting stuck is probably due to a defect. Try taking it in with your service provider and see if you can exchange it for a warranty replacement or get it fixed.
I did read that screen issues can be fixed with OS updates, but since you already did that, I'll assume redoing it won't help.

sweetie. pressing alt lglg is not working on my storm 9550 to clear my "event log".on the menu screen whenever i press the bb key the option "show keyboard" does not come up in the list of options. i also tried it (alt lglg) in other apps like message etc.
