Anonymous, 30 Sep 2008The difference is that the HTC Touch Diamond is a Windows M... moreOkay, I'll wait a month and give the Storm a go.
I realise the HTC TD and BB use different OS - my point was that other touchscreen devices just don't compare to "real keyboards" in my humble opinion.
If the HTC TD is the latest in touchscreen technology, I won't bother.
Saying that, the haptic touch keyboard of the Storm does sound mighty impressive.
Some websites suggest 25 October as the release date on Vodafone in the UK, but my local Vodafone store said today that it was being released on 01 Nov.
Goody, if I order it then it should arrive on my birthday!

Dont go for two phones. The Storm will do everything you want from the N96 and a Blackberry, all in one. OK, so the Storm won't have 16gb internal memory but it has expandable removable memory.
The Storm touch screen interface is unbelievable. Its a dual layer screen with a gel film in between which gives positive feedback clicks each time you hit a ket. And I don't mean the rubbish vibrate the whole phone thing you get on a Samsung, I mean a proper click, only in the area of the screen you touched. Seriously, wait a month, try the Storm and then, if you don't like it go for the two phone option. You've got nothing to lose.
