Actually... There is a rumor that Blackberry Storm has a WiFi Radio but has been disabled on a special request by the network carriers.
Sooner or later someone will find a way to activate the hidden disabled wifi radio and then Storm will create a true storm.

I bought a storm 10 days ago. First one faulty and had to be replaced, second one has APPALLING battery life. Doesn't even last a day. What use is that kind of performance for business users. What a cockup by RIM!

At Christmas 2008, I decide to treat myself to a brand new Blackberry Storm. Been using it for the past 3 months. Its okay, but not great. Its buggy and I had the unfortunate luck of it crashing on me. Had to reload the operating system. Thank God for backups.
I've decided to put away my Storm and take my old reliable Curve out of mothballs. I love my Curve.

Got mine today. It is tricky to set up and transfer files onto, but so far looks pretty good. No real issues. Certainly better than first batch put onto the market.

Lack of wife means nothing. It's called unlimited data you tools! I just got this phone and love it. I was apprehensive to buy it at first due to wifi, but I realize now it makes no difference. Get yourself one!

You guys are so hell bent over the lack of wi-fi. That little oversight is not all that important. I own a HTC Touch Dual and I get by just fine without the wi-fi. In fact Wi-Fi is so taxing on the battery, you better off wth HSDPA and also not every place you go to has a hotspot to surf The Net. And as someone mentioned earlier, the data is unlimited and most likely included in your BlackBerry contract. I've been using BlackBerry Connect software on the HTC, my BB service per month includes my data

The lack of WiFi is a big negative for the phone. A do-not-buy factor for me. Such a super smartphone should always have the Wireless LAN as an option. Vodafone simply tries to trap customers into using the expensive 3G network.

I bought it yesterday, phone isn't so easy to work with, I'm disapointed that it hasn't wlan, I can't believe it. I had bigger expectation. If I knew that is hasn't got wlan I wouldn't buy it.
