just got my Storm before 2 days back, well, its amazing phone, upgraded to ver 4.7 the latest .. fast ,, no freezing ,, camera perfect .. touch click is fast .. good update on ver 4.7 .. I recommend all to upgrade ..

Hello!, 23 Jul 2009Is it true that these Blackberry Storm freezes????....yes this is true , mine freezes all the time and touch interface has been acting up lately meaning you only actually touch the screen its only for selecting . the actual push touch screen technology is used for confirming your action on the phone . The touch interface has been acting up meaning i cant select or place my hand somehwere on the screen with out it either interacting with another icon or not reacting to my action at all . to tell you the truth the phone has givin me trouble lately even when i first got it

The screen is fine if you use it as discribed in the forums or info available from users.
Wifi, this is a non issue for me, my plan gives me the data I need at a reasonable cost.

I purchased BB 9530 from dubai(it came from verizon
). i want to use MAP & GPS. i couldn't find any map on device. its specification mentioning that MAP & GPS is preloaded. Any idea how to access map. and i don't have any internet connection in BB 9530. is it require internet for map?

jordan, 14 Jul 2009i thnk this fone is amazing. the no wifi thng is the least ... moreMany business users work from home who have a wireless router and many places these days do have a wifi hotspot which is several times quicker than 3g and often free. This phone may be "advertised" for the business user but they have missed a big trick not including wifi as many business users have complained. This is the reason the newer model will be including wifi but the damage has already been done which is a pity because this phone is good in most other respects. Just not the complete package yet and they have lost a big chunk of the market.

Worst phone I ever had. Very very slow motion software... Freezes all the time. I have to take out battery often and takes long time to turn back on. If you will to make emergency call with this phone, good luck, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE !!! PIECE OF CRAP, WASTE OF MONEY.
