Hey all...i am quite confused between nokia n8 and bb torch...can any one please suggest me wch 1 should i go for?? also m thinking of iphone 3Gs...i know its outdated but then the reports of iphone 4 i have heard are not good..so thinking of 3Gs....please help...

to me the new opperating system just seems to long winded, it looks great works great but just have to go through to many steps.

i have heard that the battery does'nt last as much as the bold 9700? i wanna buy this but if the battery life is not good then it will cause a prob to me as my usage is quite heavy. calls as well as messaging. any advice guys????

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2010Hi! I've been canvassing a new phone and I'm torn between B... moreif you can afford apps from itunes. iphone4 will be useful for you as a student. Although, iphone will have a lot of restriction they have almost all apps that might be of help to u as a student.
I too first considered iphone4.
But i decided to get the BB Torch only bcoz my company has BES which pushes all my emails to my phone.
I like the idea of using the slide keyboard when typing bcoz it doesnt clutter my screen unlike using the on-screen keyboard.
I don't get smudges on my screen bcoz even if the touch screen is as reactive as i phone..i feel more convenient using the trackpad.
This is my first BB phone but I have no regret chosing this over iphone4.
My camera is just as good as iphone 4.
Although, I am sure taking videos would be much better with iphone i don't miss it bcoz i donlt take vids anyways....

think of an application that you want to have on your phone that will be very useful to u as a student.
Then qoogle if u can have it on either phone.
whichever gives u the best results. you should pick :)

but i have mine for 1 month now and it i dnt have any complaint.
i like the idea of having a keyboard becoz it doesnt consume your screen unlike using the screen keyboard...all u get it half of the screen to review what u are responding to or writing about.

What is the reasons behind the software problems as Blackberry's dont normally have software issues and i have not come across any with this problem as yet.

ijust bought this blackberry 9800 is with most of its important software like browsing, instant messages,chats the list goes on and on. infact am confused now

Should i get the blackberry torch or the bold 9700. I really like the torch but im scared to get it because of all the software probs, like the phone freezing all the time, the multitasking not working etc.. plz advise

elkay, 28 Nov 2010this is the best thing that Blackberry has invented, iphone... morecommon man, dont compare the torch with a iphone 4, i have both and can say that blackberry is just good because its a well made phone, but iphone 4 brings the word phone to another level.
