Its funny when you read all those airheads commenting badly about blackberry devices... and most of them are usually toyphone or apple in general lovers...
I went from the Bold 9000 to the curve 8520 to the bold 9700 and now finally to the Torch 9800...
Blackberries ROCK they RULE... and this Torch is the best BB device ever. creen is amazing, keyboard perfect, camera lovely, OS best ever and there surely is NO problem whatsoever with the battery... I have had this Torch for 2 weeks and know all about it... very heavy use the battery will easily take you through the day... normal to heavy use a day and a half... normal use 2 days easy...
I got a toyphone... couldnt wait to get rid if it... its a toy ... for kids... and mostly for women... or males with tendecies... I went through all the nokias... etc you want and all rounder ? a device that you can play with listen to music work chat email take pictures and all with not a single worry or problem... THEN GET A BLACKBERRY...
now all you toyphone and nokia freaks... go play on the toyphone and nokia page and leave us wise fresh interesting intelligent people to discuss our amazing blackberries :)

Bow is the battery life on this? I've got the iPhone and I have to charge te blasted phone 2-3 times a day!!!! I'm not going to spend $150 on a replacement battery when I can get a torch for that price on a 2 year contract!!! Also how many times do the apps crash? iPhone is notorious for crashing !!

I hate touchscreen keyboards, I like to have a key to press so I know I have pressed the right key, there is no way you can type faster on a touch screen than a keyboard, not me anyway.

figo, 06 Oct 2010y does it have a trackpad when it is touch screenIf you own a blackberry already you will know why. It's like a trackball, it makes it easy to navigate up and down quickly through messages etc.

an expensive phone if it is incomplete... No radio included. (in the country, in the jungle,etc. there is not a WI-FI)

I'm pleased that BB have made the torch with multitab browser the OS revamp is great, would have liked to see Bluetooth V3 and a better screen still looks a little pixelated on the menu and really not up to scratch with the new samsungs and iphone 4 social feeds and copying android with drop down connectivity and notifications was in a way clever so it is not so different from the rest of the market making it accessible to switch but it seems to have lost a little bit of it's uniqueness... only a bit
