I'm using an android smartphone, but I really wanna try using a blackberry like the torch... the simplicity and the qwerty keypad is really desireable :)

well, got mine yesterday. it works great. screen is very responsive and battery can last for 1.5 days for multitasking. but the only problem i have is the package doesn't comes with pouch. not good. other than that is the keyboard. felt more smaller than 9700. if let say RIM gonna develop another mobile just make sure design 1 that looks like bold2 9700 with slimmer, wider with bigger keypads, faster processor and definitely bigger screen than the 9700.

Interesting to note that on GSMarena, the 9670 Oxford from BB is now doing better in the ratings than this endeavour, and the Oxford if a flip phone. Says quite a lot about how the Torch has been received.

blackberry disappoint me this time! the best edition is the bold 9700! plz RIM come with a better phone no touchscreen or slide, just make the bold 9700 better with specifications and make it thinner!

Don't know what problems people have with the Tourch, got mine yesterday and there aint anything wrong with it.
Camera is good, internet speed is a massive step up from rim, the multi browser is great, you can save websites on home page like an app. Music quality is great. Loudspeaker is loud (gsmarena must of had a dodgy device when testing) feels very solid. BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT! Don't know what the fuss is about

Avoid buying touch screen phones from blackberry and thats what i gained from my experience on working as a blackberry technical support for Vodafone.

BlackBerry idiots! Come on! you couldn't make a better battery!!! If nokia can do it....
Thats the only reason millions of ppl don't buy phones that have poor battery talk time!

Was excited about this phone until today.....
Finally got to see and feel it. Now if it was 2005 then maybe but it's not it's 2010.
Sorry Blackberry but it's time to move over to Android, Galaxy S here I come.

BB OS 6 is amazing internet is so much faster than my 9700 and they say the scren resolution isn't that good and its the same quality as my mates IPone 4 and touchscreen works spot on and I posted this with my BB torch that was delivered today
