[deleted post]Probably worthwhile waiting for the Torch for the new Blackberry OS 6. Also the browser is much better, and that will make a big difference between the two phones. I am currently using a 9700, which is good, but as soon as I can I will try and upgrade to a Torch.

As far as i know its not in kuwait yet officially but i think there is a shop in shraq called my phone ..its on the street where they sell cars ...this shop might have it ..

submariner, 31 Aug 2010you are such a bone head, of course iPhone is way different... morebuddy, i dont know wat kind of "high end user" you are, but this phone aint sh!t high-end user. You need to open ur eyes and have a look around wat a real high end user phone is. This phone has low-resolution screen, a slow processor, is 100% plastic, has 5 mp camera with one led flash, and less than 4gb built in memory. sorry to say but the specs on this phone were from last year.
REAL high-end users today are using, samsung galaxy, moto xt720 and droid, nokia n900, iphone 4, moto droid x, htc g2.....
all these phones have 480p screens, amoled technologies, most of them have 1ghz processors... and 8-32gb memory built in with seperate graphics accelerators.
(now talk about high end user cause i can't do sh!t all with this piece of crap)

if you just want to have a bb phone then take it, but if you hope torch is comparatively good as iphone 4 or samsung galaxy or desire or nexus one, then forget it.. this phone is superior only with blackberry phones early releases,, but inferior compare with high ends from apple, samsung or galaxy..

i have beenusing this phone for few days and think this is the best bb Rim has made till now.
my other phones are iphone 4 and bold 9700
but this one is better then the bold

i think this phone is awesome, great design, and about the pricing, if u want somethin good, gotta pay for it!
right now i hav a bold 9700 and its a great phone, its totally worth to buy, awesome experience, great battery life, decent camera, and its very fast, and the best reason why having a 9700: the phone just doesnt fail, i have signal all the time, batt last 2 days on heavy usage, i love it
iphone 4 looks great as well, but im bb fan, i think bb is a phone you can trust,it wont fail ( besides de sucky storm) ...

the model looks same with Bold 9700 just slice model but still expensive.. i am happy with my Bold 9700 -:)

hello..just came frm shoot...i am using this handset frm last 15 days...its awsome device i ever had in my life..dont compare with IPhone 4..both r excellent in ther own department..i have both and i like BB more..5mp camera is really good..sm ppl here r misguiding on ths phn...believe me its the Best..love u all...

All Blackberry's Mobile should have Radio with Recording Mode too, Long Battery Backup, High Resolution with More Mega pixel, Infrared even then it is no more. More colors in the screen.Everything should be in a easier manner bcoz in Blacberry's phone it also very difficult to copy, paste, Edit, Move Contacts & Messages on Computer's Desktop.
Please apply all the things in Blacberry's Phones.
