b, 08 Aug 2010can we use the camera flash as a flash light/torch?I don't know about Blackberry Torch but this function is available in Nokia E63. In E63 you just need to press space bar to activate torch.

Your explanation, and the logic of BB doing this does not stack up.

Haters will hate, lovers will love! Simple as that. Haters will always seem to find some flaw in it somehow. People will have problems with it cuz it doesn't load the page as fast as iPhone 4 or Android but I don't really give a shit if it's 2 seconds slower. Not a big deal! I was a Nokia fan and I was WAITING for a BB with a better camera and specs so I could upgrade. This is the perfect phone for me and I can't wait for it to come in Canada. I'm standing in the line.

It just doesn't seem enough, but I do like the design of this phone. I liked the Palm Pre but that just felt too cheap, and this just might replace my Curve 8520 if the exeprience is as stable as my Curve. Too bad we might not get it until next year here in Mexico.

oday I was in AT&T shop and see the Blackberry Torch. I was surprise to see how good it was and it looked. almost same size as my Bold 9700 except with bigger Touch screen and keyboard. The OS 6.0 looked great and touch screen felt like my iPhone 4 and not like Storm 2 which I hate. So, if you like blackberry then it is great replacement for your old Blackberry model.

I always think that BlackBerrys are cool but kinda too common in my country
but I love this model! I love touchscreens soo much!
The storm is fine but the surepress thing kills me
This one is amazing! Stylish, full custom navigation (touchscreen, QWERTY and optical trackpad) connectivity OK, more than needed.
I never use video calls anyway so second camera doesn't really matter
waiting for this one in my country! And perhaps the white one soon ^^
