Only take pics and videos..perhaps whats app..if u dont have iitunes or apple supporting devices then ur iphone will be pretty much just a massive camera to u..njoy taking pics only and expanding them on the touch screen..i work with mac and apple devives..do urself a favour ..know what u getting ur self ,evean the new nokia T7 is better than the iphone..but ofcorse nothinh is better than the bb torch

I've had my WhiteBB Torch for only two months now!! I must comment this awesome device as I do not believe that there possibly cant be anything better!! I love the fact that I am always connected to family and freinds via all means of communtication and chat sites,and also the massive screen,excellent picture quality when watching movies and videos!!And downloading is never a issue!!Most people say that they wouldn'nt be able to handle such a massive phone...please...lol until uve got one ..save it!! lol Thanks Blackberry :)...P.S I got my brother the 9780 for his 19th Birthday that comming up soon!!And I just know hes going to loooooooooooove it!! :)

Had the torch for 2 weeks now. My first BB and it is very definately the best phone I have ever had.

BB torch has proven that it is a solid stable mobile phone for me. I am very much happy with it. Hope everyone is!!!?

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2011please advise me....dilema... have a samsung galaxy s11 as... moreI hate these touchscreens and liked the BB better..I dont know if you can get the new BB9900 on your network but the BB 9780 is good also..The 9780 has better battery but torch is very solid mobile..The only other qwerty is Nokia E6 but you will lose auto focus..I think you will like/love BB torch..THe buttons on BB torch are a little bit smaller than other BB but millions are using the torch with no complaints..
With ANY mobile phone if you think its not working get it changed..We see so many people on here complaining whereas must NORMAL humans with common sense would take it back..
I had red torch but now using 9780 and Nokia C3 till BB 9900 arrives.I swapped my red BB torch for BB 9780 plus 100 GBP the Torch is s avery expensive smartfone but solid built with excellent quality..

please advise me....dilema... have a samsung galaxy s11 as an up-grade and have 14days to decide, i cant answer calls easily, dont like the touch-screen for texting, but like looking at facebook. i send lots of texts and love a good quality camera. I loved my old slide-up phone . I liked to nokia with the qwerty but unfortunately was really hard to slide open. The blackberry torch 9800 looks good and it also is smaller the the samsung which is HUGE and uncomfortable to hold, plz am i doing the right thing sending it back and getting the torch??

so confused, blackberry torch/samsung galaxy s 11. i currently have samsung as above but find it hard to answer calls, and hate to touch screen. Im not a hip down-loading apps person so feel it wasted on me. so many opinions about torch, have one week left to send back to t mobile as it an up-grade. help if all i do is send loads of texts/fb/take photos but like a quality phone!!!!!!

I've had my bb torch 9800 for a month now its the best phone I had to date just the battery is poor and the sound on the phone is kind of soft and I see if your bis ain't active then you can't access the web or use your bbm and that's a huge let down and the app world sucks there aint any good apps or games on it

I've had a blackberry torch for just under two months, and the standby time is only around 12hrs and the talk time is no more then 60-90 minutes which is absolutely poor, as your forever having to charge the phone at least twice a day! If i had known this was the case, i would of went for an Apple Iphone!

Friend, 30 Jul 2011I was wondering: If I were to purchase this version of Blac... more1.Yes u have to validate ur emails again .... 2.if ur contact list is syncronised with ur e-mail like Gmail or yahoo mail u can syncronise ur lists from ur e-mail account (btw the device asks u if u want to sync contacts with the valitated account)3.if u were using a device with Blackbery OS 5 upgrading to OS 6 maybe u will loose some applications which r not compatible with the newest version 4.if ur device was running OS6 then no problem ,all ur apps can be downloaded again from my blackberry world 5. pics videos and music u had on device will be lost but if u had it on external memory card they can esily transfered to ur new device. I hope i answered to all ur questions

papalina, 25 Jul 2011i buy blackberry 9800 a few days before and let me say is t... moreDepending on the application u r running ... check out if some aspplications run in backwards ... also depending on the use u make .... an average use makes the battery phone lasts for 3 days .... uses like taking pics listen to the music and making a video for sure they r reducing tthe battery life but charging twice a day i guess its a problem u have to check it out at ur local blackberry service
