I think the battery life is good. Today I was out on the Sydney Harbour and I made 3 calls, a few text messages, was taken photos and surfing Facebook and the battery is still showing full. I was out for 7 hours. The battery last quiet good.
I used a HTC Desire HD and the battery on that died every 3 hours, I took it back to store, got my money back and went Blackberry Torch instead and I don't regret it.
Mate, everyone uses there phones differently so battery life willnalso depend on the user. The BB Torch is a good phone.

i have had my torch since december 24th , love it , however ! still seems to be a lack of apps for the uk market and has been a little laggy last few days ! any ideas on why ? help please ( this is my first blackberry and still learning the ways of R.I.M )

Hi there,
I recently bought the AT&T version of the BB Torch 9800 and I'm absolutely loving it. I tell you I ain't missing my iPhone 4 yet lol, anyhow have a question regarding the internal memory capacity.
I was under the belief that that the internal memory capacity is 4GB with a 4GB SD Memory card. When I look at the storage capacity reading it states the following:
Application Storage:
Free Space = 290 MB
Built in Media Storage:
Total Space: 99.7MB
Media Storage Card:
Total Space: 32GB ( I have a 32GB SD Card installed)
Am I right to say there should be 4GB of built in memory available. If there should be, what should I do, return it back to the seller/shop.
Please let me know,

My BBTorch has a rubber back cover....how tacky is that!!!! my Storm 2 was constructed with better material. Wake up RIM, your quality seems to be going backwards.

Well I have had this phone for almost a month now. I think it is awesome and I must admit I used to be a huge Nokia fan until my girlfriend convinced me to try this blackberry.
The only thing that bothers me though is that the battery seems to drain very quickly. But other than that it is a very good phone.

elliieeeee, 15 Feb 2011love the torch so far, bit upset that u cannot change the a... moreWhen you compose or forward a message you start typing the recipients name in the box then select it, after you select the contact another 'to' field will appear below that and you just type the next contact's name in as you did for the first. I have a torch and this works on mine.
