How is the battery life on this phone. Cause apparently the Bold 9900 doesn't have a very good battery life on approx. the same battery size (1230mAh).

To everyone complaining about the battery life, you're right, it sucks compared to older Blackberrys. Reason being is because the newer Blackberrys have bigger processors, better screens, and smaller batteries to power them. In order to catch up to the competion RIM had to up the specs but to keep the size of the phone down, the battery got smaller.

The things that help saving battery life are turning off bluetooth and wifi when not in use. Turn backlight delay down to like 10 seconds or less. Turn screen brightness down as low as you can deal with. There's others I just can't think of at the moment. Hope this helps.

This phone is the worst phone ever. The speed is slow, there's checkerboarding, camera sucks, not full HD, battery life lasts for 8 hours, shuts down by it's self, and blacks out. i just got myself a lg prada 3.0 and this phone is much better.

If your battery doesn't last as long as you would want it. . Then buy a spare battery. Period!

hi guys.. i have a problem.. i just change my blackberry id and unfortunately i can't verify my email address.. everytime i clikck the conformation link it will says "site map: email confirmation feature temporarily unavailable".. so is it any other ways that i can confirm my email? please help me.. :(

I don't like how RIM plans things, the first torch had 1300mAH of battery while this one have just 1270mAH with a 1.2GHz clock speed, is that funny ? they could have made the battery of this one 1350, 1400 or 1450mAH even, an upgrade not a downgrade, some people can decide not to buy this phone cus of battery life and they wouldn't know it. RIM change please, release a better battery.
