Having spent approx 4 hours trying to get ringer to activate with no joy, I decided to phone my supplier (Vodafone) who informed me that they have had other complaints with this problem and they would send me another Torch 9810 next day. (I hope this one works) - hope this helps!

Just got my bb 9810 for 2days now. Was enjoyin it until dis afternun. Don't knw were I touched. I can nolonger hear my callers $ its no longer ringin out. Wen eva a call is comin in there is dis sign on d screen that reads ringer off. Hav tried goin thru d sound settings $ ringing tone. Its not workin. Pls does anyone know how I can turn d ringer on. Its freakin me out. Tanks.

I have used many different phones, japanese docomo Sharp SH-01a, bb, iphone, SE, never had one single problem with any of them

My first Blackberry was the torch 9800, it would freeze all the time. When the 9810 came out I traded it in, I am in lovee with this phone. Its fast, high deff, in all just perfect!

I switched from Bold 9780 to Torch 9810. Before 9810, 9780 was the best phone I ever used. The best. But now with the new torch 9810, its a different experience people! The browsing experience, the call quality. Its a unique feeling. I will advice u to go for this phone over an iphone any day cos I own both. Thank u RIM. Hope u keep bringing out newer models for us to choose from. Hope this helped.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2011can't get the virtual keypad open on my blackberry torch 9... moreAlso, I almost forgot, if you click on Universal Search with the qwerty keypad closed, the vitual one should pop up. If it doesn't, go to: Options-Typing & Languages-Keyboard and check your settings there. Hope this helps.

NIcer, 16 Nov 2011When it comes to speed of processing data or task, Is 98... moreAlso, I like the color better on the 9800 also, but I've got a custom skin on my 9810 so it really doesn't matter. Skins and snap on covers are a great and cheap way to change a phone's look.

NIcer, 16 Nov 2011When it comes to speed of processing data or task, Is 98... moreI've owned both and can tell you from personal experience the 9810 is way faster when it comes to web based activities but the 9800 still works fine, just takes a couple more seconds to get there. For videos you would want the 9810. For moving between functions on the phone the difference isn't much if any.
