This phone is my only stupid phone I ever have.
Almost 10x hangs everyday and always need to wipe and reinstall blackberry OS.

i have a blackberry 9860...and i am using bsnl prepaid network....i can't browse internet....when i browse the internet...their is a notification that"You are currently on a service plan that does notsupport this application,contact your service provider"

my own hangs and when i want to restart it.it still hangs and wont restart rather it will show that is booting for hours pls what can be the problem and what will be the soloution

stupid,waste model ! Very slows the system n freez again n again,have to reboot more then 50 times a day,low application memory,no proper apps n games,just waste of money,worst experience,plz dont buy this model,you will regret.

Good Points - Clutter Free Interface, Best Business Phone at this Price, Superb Integration, Works like a Personal Assistant & Organizer, Good Photography & Video Recording, Decent Display Size to watch Videos, Lightweight & Compact enough to carry in pocket. This Phone can reduce your 8 hours work to 1 Hour.
Bad Points - Remaining 7 Hours are invested in rebooting the Device. Poor battery performance. Hangs more than it works.

what can I do the phone (9860)is loading 3 quarters the waay and freezing it not moving I left it loading up on the charger for a d and it was still the same ?\

1. Won't work on protected business wireless LANs because RIM insist on using their own proxy.
2. ANY chat software won't work without RIM's BB data plan - not available on many (most?) service providers around the world.
3. Much software expects / insists on PHONE data connection and refuses to work via LAN, when LAN only is available.
4. Micro USB charging / data plug dies after 2 to 3 years use - daily plugging / un-plugging to charge or backup / sync.
5. NO WAY to stop or kill unwanted background processes - eg push advertising installed by some apps. This could be a virus to open your phone to hackers.
6. Must have a BB account to access the BB App "store", even to get free apps.
These comments are specific to my personal experiences with my BB Torch 9860. I'm guessing that they may cover many of the BB range due to the OS (version 7) being used across most of the range.
