It could have been a great BB, it could have defeated the great Javelin (8900), but then they removed the wifi features. what a shame... this model could have been great.

Hey, Im thinking about buying this phone.
I live in England. It's my birthday coming up soon and i'd really like this phone....
HOWEVER... I do not know......
Will the blackberry tour work in england with an english sim E.g Tmobile if bought in America and shipped over to england?

this phone is really pissing me off right now because I can't sync it with my mac at all. My old 8900 used to sync perfectly. What the hell Blackberry!

jamaicangirl, 10 Sep 2009how do I remove ACTIVATION REQUIRED, I've tried ##000000 an... moreWhen you are press ##000000 and hit send key, you will see Mobile Directory Number on the first row, you should type in your phone number, then press Menu (BlackBerry Symbol) and chose Save, then your BlackBerry will automatically restart and you wont see Activation Require again. I am already done mine. Good luck.

I have used it for 6 months now and the screen has stopped working twice completely. Within the first 2 months the screen gave way. I got it repaired and again after two months the screen has stopped functioning. I have again sent it for repairs but i seriously feel that the Storm's RIM technology is defective. i am now forced to consider purchasing the Tour. This is really a shame for BB because as long as the Storm functioned, it was brilliant. Regrettably BB has missed out on this one big time...

i wanna ask, did blackberry tour can dual mode on? GSM & CDMA switch on together?& how about the sim card slot, it's just one or two (for GSM & CDMA)?

I just bought a BB Tour 9630, everything is good except SMS alert, when i receive SMS, the phone sound only 1 time, and also i cannot dial from my contact list, i mean when i chose a number from my contact list, then i hit send key, but the phone will never dial, are someone know how to solve this. Thanks

it's little bit bigger than the GREAT BB (curve 8900 aka Javelin).
...still javelin is the greatest phone ever....

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2009May I just ask what is the main difference of tour 9630 uni... moreThe main difference 8900 has Wi-Fi and 9630 no have. 8900 has no 3G and 9630 does have 3G. The 8900 is much lighter than 9630. Just the look of 9630 is better. They both good phone as all Blackberry are.

Just bought one last night. Like it so far. Just wish that the camera is much better and has Xenon flash.... I'm a corporate user but like to have all-in-one gadget with me....
