it looks like Blackberry onyx, and the others, blackberry magnum, pluto, both of that are dreadfully design that I've ever seen on Blackberry type before

Aasim, 31 Jul 2009Its not about putting in WIFI or not - there are corporates... moreTrue, but in that case, BB becomes a manufacturer that is only producing sets for corporate sales and not caring for individual user's requirement.

I am a BB user and a big fan, however, I have no clue why BB would decide not to include wifi?? Do they know that in this age, users want a complete phone? And its hard to sacrifice one feature for the sack of other?

Its not about putting in WIFI or not - there are corporates - any plenty of them who provide BlackBerries to their employees and they have their security policies enforced on it when you do the enterprise activation so much so that you can not install any application at all - hence they dont want their corporate network to be bypassed by the handset to exchange any information from the handset. This is a security feature not a lacking. Secondly, there are corporates who still do not allow camera phones to be brought into their premises that's why RIM is still offering BBerries without cameras. I hope this clear everyone's doubts.

                          - The resolution is flawless
                          - Camera is decent for a phone, it will take decent photos to get devloped on a 4x6
                          - MP3 & Media manager is awesome, on the organization with playlists and what not
                          - Upgraded software is always a plus
                          - Faster model, less loading than last generations (curve, pearl, world)
                          - Blackberry with all the built in apps ( that you dont have to purchase or download) is awesome
                          - SYNCablility (if thats a word) is amazing. I use googleSYNC to do all mine OTA SYNCing

                          - Why is everyone complaining about wifi? Get a half decent data plan, they have dropped in price by sooo much, and suck it up! really...

                          anyways thats my two cents!

                          more to come later.

This is the amazing Matchu, signing off.

RIM is the most backward mobile company in the world instead of putting new technology into its devices it like to leave things out....? the Bold had wifi and 3g and this one is missing wifi....? why would you do that as a company your guys are stupid or something? and a 3.mp camera is so 2003 last time i check we are in 2009 LG, Sony, and Samsung has made even 5.mp obsolete. So what is RIM doing all this time the storm is a let down and the storm 2 is no difference. omg i dont know what people buy blackberry in the first place? ok ok i get that they have good services but that can only go so far for so long? in the name of all things good about this hp RIM really need remove all their top management!!!!!!

What i dont understand is why blackberry always release a version of a phone with all features, and then release a scaled down version of that phone after. Its like they are going backward. The release of the curve 8900 and then the curve 8520 is just a perfect example.
