Turn the brightness to minimum (as it is auto brightness is always on by default).
Turn of the wifi,bluetooth and mobile data toggles when not required.

warning to all future buyers ::-- THE BlackBerry z10 doesn't support wifi direct and mirscast,the function is there in the hardwares but for some unknown reason BlackBerry has disallowed the os from using it. In other words you can not use flash transfer in BlackBerry z10. This is an absolute let down since even the cheapest android devices have this feature. So if you buy a z10 like me the only way to transfer files is the old bluetooth. That's so irritating.

Hey I'm a big fan of BlackBerry. I use BlackBerry z10 and I love it so much. I bought it before 8 month.but I am facing many problems of this phone. Sometimes no apps doesn't work , sometimes click on camera it says camera can't be open. Then I had to restart my phone. Sometimes it takes about 3 minutes to start my phone. BlackBerry should take decision for those problems....thank you :)
