I understand that Z10 comes with BB10 out of the box. What is the process for upgrading to 10.2? One service centre says they will charge Rs 2500.00 for software upgrade, BB password setting etc and the process takes 2-3 hours. Bull****, as the upgrade link should come OTA, I believe.And it should be done free of cost. Any feedback, guys?

presh, 25 May 2014wotz d best power bank 4 a z10Doesnt matter, just get the cheapest if you like. If you dont like your phone to get hot while charging then the Z10 is happiest with a max current of 0.75 to 0.85 Ampere, 1 Ampere will already cause some heating up (not serious though) and with 0.5 Ampere will take long time to charge.

Fred, 25 May 2014How long wuld you charge a BB Z10 battery first before use... moreTheres no such thing as first time charge with lithium batteries, just charge it when you can, and dont ever let it go below 40% if possible.
For lithium batteries many small charges are beter than a few big charges, a li-ion battery that stays mostly between 40 and 60% can last very very long time without significant degradation.

Otoh, you should not use spare battery, get a power bank instead and whenever the battery reaches 40% you charge it to 80%, its much better for the battery, and you dont have to waste time in booting up the phone (takes quite a while on BB10). Uninterupted operation and less damage to the battery are two big advantages with powerbanks, another thing is that they cost far less than a spare battery.

hey guys...previously i was an iphone 4S user....iphone is really great but no file manager even jailbreaking my iphone dint found to be usefull
i switched to Z10 last month and i have to admit its better than 4S ....bttry depends on hw u use.my last for 10-12 hours for moderate use...its a monster machine with DUAL OS BB10 and android...thats amazing...i m enjoying it....there is no match for bb hub

Also, no point in going for iphone 5(having the same configuration as Z10 as mentioned by you) as there is so much price difference. In any case, I have the bad habit of replacing cell phone at a regular interval.

Yes it has better hardware specs but you won't notice it anyway. The It has no sense to spend so much for such a light advantage in my opinion..
Regarding the iPhone, Z10 is way better as 4S. It's around iPhone 5 specification

Guys, I have not purchased this product yet. But after seeing lot of reviews and opinions, both positive and negative, I have decided to buy one BB 10 device. Please advise whether I should go for Z10 or Z30. 3 advantages of Z10 are size,PPi and price. Everything else goes for Z30. But, 33K is a prohibitive, I think. They should be ideally priced @ 15K and 25K respectively. Also, iphone users please advise where does 4S stand in comparison to Z10. My budget is around 20-22K and I am not going for android phone.
