Has any1 tried installing IR blaster app in Z10 which is available in play store ?? Can it be installed ? & if it can be installed, does it work like in other high end android devices ?

I hv updated the os 2 days back to 10.2.1.2141. Is there any solutn for it.
And i wanna know that do we need a ram cleaner for optimum fast usage of ram n which will be the best.

hubble, 11 Apr 2014actually BB has a good compression algorithm for JPG pictur... moreBB uses the same compression algorithm as everyone else does, if not BB photos would be unreadable for other devices. JPEG does however have a quality setting that most be between 1 and 100, thats where the difference in filesize comes from.
You are right, 4:3 makes bigger files, because 16:9 photos are only 6 megapixels, and one need scenery with lots of fine details and rich colors to get big file sizes.

amitp, 10 Apr 2014Hey my z10 has got 8 mp camery bt photos are just of 1 mp o... moreactually BB has a good compression algorithm for JPG pictures which is why the pictures are very low in MB storage. plus you need to be taking pictures with a lot of colours in order for the MB to be greater than 1. this is due to its awesoem compression system. if your pictures are dark and have low colour variation, they will be less than 1 MB. its just how it is witht he camera. plus use 4:3 aspect raio as it uses the full sensor to capture images. which will result in higher MB of jpg.

Actually if you take a picture in normal mode the size of the pic wil be less then 1 MB depends on the image you take.. If you are looking to take the best/HD photo you can open camera -> settings -> (Mode)select "HDR" it will take 1-2 seconds to take a photo but the size will be 2MB.. quality is awesome for post zooming etc..

zrmughal01, 10 Apr 2014No solution... you have to live with that. Its not like its a problem anyway, a little heat is normal for powerful phones, those who cant handle it better get a Samsung E1200.
Performance = heat. A 50cc scooter can be aircooled but yo cant do that on a Yamaha R1, theres too much power at play. Phones will eventually get cooler as transistor sizes shrink but from experience we know that they rather up the performance so things stay the same temperature wise.

amitp, 09 Apr 2014how to take screen shot in bb z10 10.2.1 os slt-001 to take screen shots you have to press and hold for like 2 seconds the up and down buttons at the same time.
