The Blackberry Z10 is a super bit if kit. Have had it for about 3weeks now and I am fascinated by it. Having upgraded from a phone (text and talk) the Z10 takes us to an entirely new level with an abundance of apps. Much is said and written about the apple I phone which is priced about £550. I bought the Z10 from Carphone Warehouse for £149. The Z10's problem seems to be late coming to the market, but at the price I paid fantastic value for money. Some complain about the poor battery life. But it should be remembered that this phone does much more the previous generation of phones. I would not swop it.

i) About your messages saved in sim card, go... more- Adding to it, my Wifi is always on and 2G kicks in when I move out of Wifi zone.
- Install Battery Lover application and check when it goes down drastically on a particular activity.
- Also, Settings->Network Connections->Mobile Network->Network Mode(Choose specific band you want to be at, otherwise it searches for other bands too)

This will point to a Crackberry Forum.
Here is the solution to it, as written by a user in CrackBerry forum:
"After a visit in my carrier's store and after thorough investigation it appears to be a problem on network's side. I have a new SIM card and no more "SIM full" message, however I still don't receive text messages. Tested on another phone - the same situation. Now I have a ticket and awaiting resolution... To summarize: in my case there's nothing wrong with Z10, OS or SIM card. It seems that the message was kinda "generic", identifying some issue with carrier's network."
Messages are never stored in SIM in Z10. This is issue with SimCard you are using. AFAIT, you are using old one and get it replaced from your network provider and I'm pretty sure it will solve your problem.
ii) About the battery issue, check which application you use most, it is generally defect of application trying to communicate with OS most of the time rather when required. For instance whenever I play PixWords game, battery drains very fast, rather it's a simple crossword game and it shouldn't.
If you are recording video, it is an exception and will drain your battery fast anyhow as camera is recording minimum 720p resolution.
In my case: Around @ 6AM I unplug my device at 100% battery.
Till around 11PM at night I put it to charge and that moment battery left varies from ~12 to 30%
Applications connected are WhatsApp, BBM Groups, Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, Foursquare. These applications are always interacting.
I use Skype for approx 20mins., calling goes for around 30 minutes via network. WhatsApp, Facebook and BBM takes approx 45 minutes(total aggregate time I'm interacting with it). Gaming for around 20 to 30 minutes. And finally, I'll be streaming some music via Nobex or will be playing music for a while.
Moreover I keep on News(video play) in morning for around 30 minutes(daily task).
If I'm engaged in all of the above activities at night before bed, I'm left with around 10 to 15% battery. Never encounter condition wherein I have to look for it to charge as last 10% goes down slowly.
If I miss out any of the activities above charge remains about 25 to 30%.
So, I would suggest you to check which applications are draining your battery, that you will learn it overtime and understanding the issue.

Its easily drains battery and when your sim card full of sms it can't received any more sms.you want to delete those sms in your sim then when you look at to your settings theres no sim messgaes located

The new BB10 OS 10.2.1 is awesome... people will really like it once its release next month. I have already installed on my z10 phone and installed android apps to without any hassle.

I used a lot of androids,and BB never crossed my mind until I got good offer on z10, and i decided to take it. After 6 months of using it, there is now way I will purchase any other phone than BB10 phone. OS is superb and z10 is excellent device

I happened to transfer the photos taken by my z10.. calculated the resolution it took. its only 5.99Mp or 6MP.. why is that so? is there a hidden setting to change it to 8MP? 've been trying ot change it but I couldnt just find the settings for the camera. But i was amazed by the aperture size of f2.2.. its took amazing pictures.. But could someone know how to switch it to 8MP?
