I’m using the Firmware Version: 10.0.10.82
I was hesitant at first to buy this BlackBerry Z10 considering all the issues I’ve read and heard about the phone but still I chose to give BlackBerry another chance. I'm using the Bold 9790 and I'm not so happy about it but with this one, I’m very happy to say that this phone totally surpassed all my expectation. I’m very satisfied with the superb messaging features (E-Mail and the BBM). I didn't face any problem whatsoever. No over-heating. No hanging-up. No restarting. The phone have a very stable and smooth UI (Operating System). My phone lasted almost a day with average usage (calls, bbms, e-mailing and facebooking) with voice dictation.
Another thing which I love about the phone is the voice dictation feature. I’m not a native English speaker but I can speak the American accent though not perfect and the phone totally understands my talking. Some times, I just feel lazy to type and I will just have to dictate what I have to say, do some few editing (I’m not a native English speaker as I said) and send the message.
Transferring contacts from my iPhone is surprisingly easy. I have an iCloud account where my phone’s contacts are also backed-up and from the BlackBerry Setting (Accounts -> Add Account) everything is at eased. My iPhone's contacts are synchronized with my BlackBerry Phonebook.
I don’t have problem with the phone’s network signal and the WIFI. I don’t experience any drop calls or delays in sending or receiving messages.
I don’t complain about the few apps on the App World, I can wait. I’m not really someone whose like downloading games and tons of app on the phone, just few that are useful is what I need. Skype and Viber with voice and video calling feature are on their way. I’m sure more apps are on the way in the coming months.
I don’t regret choosing this phone over (Xperia Z and iPhone 5) and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.
With this phone, BlackBerry have a chance to regain a considerable market share again.

po , 05 Apr 2013why z10 not have blackberry bis? now just pack date This is something great about the new BlackBerry 10 OS, means e-mails and apps are no longer BIS dependent. Simply a network data plan will work.

All you have to do is to Press and Hold the Message that wanted to forward afterwards a side menu on the right pane will appear.
Click the "Arrow Pointing Right" to forward. :)

I am new to smart phones and it doesn't seem to do as much as my short lived blackberry I had prior to the z10. And can I do anything with the ring tones?? I don't like the text one as I miss it all the time. And I had separate tones for my family members before.

In reply to anne and how to forward an SMS: Hold your finger on the message you want to forward and a black bar should pop out from the right. Open that and it has all options on there :)

Whenever I am saving the number and have an incoming call the phone hangs and then to save the number I have to restart.

No relationship between old BB like my 9810 and the new Z10. The new phone misses much of basic BB spirit. If i gonna change I ll go for Iphone5

Hov, 03 Apr 2013great review! u said it all! this is great device!WOW, somebody actually wrote something worth reading! Im getting a demo/trial version of this phone to learn how to sell it to customers through work (I work in Telco) and have sofar only used it for a few minutes.
I currently use a HTC One X but am eager to learn more about the Z10 and so far it seems like people who are already interested in getting a Z10 are people who do GOOD research on the phone and know what features will actually benefit their interaction with their phones.
It honestly does not surprise me that majority of people who are bagging out BB Z10 are iOS users who think the iPhone 5 is the yearly holy grail of smartphones. They think that an Android/BB/W8 phone is 'too complicated' and that an iPhone is so easy to use because all their friends have it and they have other iOS devices to suit their love for Apple products. By no means am i saying the iPhone 5 is a bad phone... really, it is a good phone with A LOT of limitations. Ive had an iPhone before and loved it.. until I decided to go to Android and never looked back.
TIP FOR THE WISE: If you are bagging an OS because it isn't iOS, ask yourself: "am i a naive douche bag who doesn't know what they are talking about?" If you answered yes, then you might as well close your browser now and go play angry birds.
