AnonD-79632, 14 May 2014Its reviews like yours that is beyond ridiculous. The z3 is... moreI read his post and cant understand why you reply him like that. He isnt saying Z3 is the best but it is a key player in relaunching the BB brand.

4 years ago?? What phone did you have 4 years ago? I had the best at the time, the N900, others will say the best was Galaxy S, with its 8GB storage, 1GHz single core A8 cpu, 512MB RAM, 800x480 resolution. And you are saying that dual Krait 1.2GHz, 1.5GB RAM and 960x540 res isnt better?

Your claims are very much off, even 3 years ago tehre were NOTHING in the market that could have challenged Z3, Galaxy S2 was still inferior in both resolution and CPU power, and even had less RAM, only 1GB.

Value for money, Z3 is great, thats why im getting one, never ever before have we had so much power for so little money. My Z10 has 2GB RAM but its CPU is actually same performance as this one (dual Cortex A9 at 1.5GHz vs dual Krait at 1.2GHz) and i know how well the Z10 performs, and i expect the same performance from Z3.

Now we can discuss WHY BB10 performs so unreasonable well on these relatively weak CPUs, if its microkernels or what but the fact still remains that they DO perform this well.

Now heres a lab test anyone can do at home. Take any Android quadcore flagship, start up Chrome, go to desktop version of a facebook profile, use only desktop functionality and behold the performance. Not that impressive. Some waiting time, some unresponsiveness when open photos in the viewer, for long periods. Now do the same on a Z10, the weak old dual core does it flawless without any lag or unresponsiveness whatsoever, and it does it with full Adobe Flash support.

The z3 is in no way the best phone, not even 4 years ago would it have been the best phone. Blackberry made this a budget phone and then you actually write that.

Gladiator, 13 May 2014What if the battery dies and you want to replace it?I've been using BlackBerry for a long time. I started with the Storm 1 then moved to Storm 2. Torch 2 followed, then I moved to Z10. I'm currently rocking the Z30.
The Z30 is quality smartphone and I confidentially say the this is the best of all phones.
With the Z3,BlackBerry is definitely moving forward in re establishing itself as leading player and not an underdog.
              Well done BlackBerry!

Allen, 13 May 2014What is the point of a smartphone today without LTE bands... moreBlackBerry is gonna release Z3 in emerging markets. And most of them dont have 4G yet, so, it is not a problem.
Z3 is not gonna come to countries like U.S.A, so no need to have LTE Bands.
And at this price, You cant expect everything from a premium manufacturer

The Z3 is very good as the specification show and for the fact that BB is always the best brand. I suggest RIM should give us a variant with complete physical keyboard for those of that type too much. The length of the phone is enough to accommodate complete physical keyboard; just make the screen 4 inches and use the remaining 1 inch for the keyboard layout. Also upgrade the processor to 2GHz and the RAM to 3GB and the magic is done. Notwithstanding the Z3 is excellent in the overall view.
