So disapointed that BlackBerry jst failed their customer....i hv used blackbery since 2008 n I loved it bt now I hate de name bcz I jst bought another1 n now no longer going to hv watsap y could'nt tried to upgrade their software

Yea this phone kinda doesn't really meet the expectations,I updated my system software and now I cant install even a low size app..keeps on saying my phone has low memory.
Another thing, blackberry world has very few common social applications and most of them are way not beneficial at all

Are you sure you're using a Z3 and Not a Z30?
Perhaps a typing error or a basic user.

Why buy a phone that has so much problems. While there are many phones in the market which is of the same price and still of much better quality.
Or you can consider using it as a basic phone.

Try a reboot, if you know how to do it. Or go to a phone repair shop and get it done.

It was a satisfactory device. But after a year or so the problems started.
The first one was that I couldn't get software updates, because they can only be downloaded in the phone memory and not to the memory card. And the phone memory wasn't sufficient (Blackberry's problem). I even tried rebooting the phone (cleared all data), still I couldn't update.
I tried ignoring it and just using the phone, but to add to the nuisance they keep notifying you everyday about updating the software. How come BlackBerry doesn't know their own problem? How can they ask people to update after making a phone with insufficient memory.
The Third problem followed up quite quickly. BlackBerry Z3 does NOT support Whatsapp. And you don't find many other chat apps too on their BlackBerry World.
The Forth problem was the back cover. It has this go fancy grip, which they say will prevent the phone from slipping. I had put a silicone cover. Recently when I took off the cover, the entire phone back cover had become sticky. Nothing had happened to the silicone cover. So I assume once again this sticky back cover was as a result of the materials used or it could be due to the over heating problems.
So if you want to purchase this phone, you might want to consider the features you need and the amount of tolerance you have.
Overall it's not worth it. Very disappointed when Thinking BlackBerry could make such a lousy phone.

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2017I also have same problem my Z3 just died on 01 jan Seriously, mine is still charging if I plugged it. when blackberry phone dies it stops charging but this is not the case now. is the battery changeable?

Good morning everyone in the house. I used my z3 blackberry around 3: 00 am this morning while plugging it. When i woke up around 5:00 am this morning i met it switch off and i tried to switch it on but all my efforts proved abortive. I then plugged it and it started charging by displaying the green light and unplugged it and try to switch it on but it refuses to come up yet. Please, what is responsible for this and what can i do?
