Where do some of you guys get the idea hardware is not on par with android? I been working inside all phones for nearly 15yrs & by far Blackberry is the leader in hardware & software, only quality parts are used & the software is their own development & the most secure platform, have you ever heard of a blackberry been jailbroken 30mins after it was released? Hell no never gonna happen thats why the US government endorses BlackBerry. Features doesnt determine quality or technology...

Look at the massive increase in power for Android just to manage the operating system and you call that better specs, when I call that inefficient operating system full of spyware and bloatware, but you would not know that.

There is no wifi hotspot. Why? Z10 has wifi hotspot.
Research in Motion should please include wifi hotspot in Z30.

BB Z30 looks good,but the weight? Hope the price is not expensive, the price should be lower than Moto X.

Build quality and materials used in this fon are exceptional . BB Z30 is by far one of the best few out there.

Blackberry Z30...... Yes, i agree woth most of you, hardware is not on par with Android or IOS devices. We all are to familiar with the loading clock on the previous BB7 devices, but you try to look up your corporate directory in the same manner than on a blackberry, and you soon realize that maybe hardware is not all you need. Android and IOS needs to up their game in the corporate sector. Blackberry has a corporate server that integrates with the company's email and calendar services. Where are those services from the Android and IOS?
Also, lets not forget how many people using Android and IOS devices cannot wait for BBM.
Yes, kids want to take vids and share fotos on facebook and so on and so forth, but the people(parents) paying for all those toys you so enjoy are probably using a Blackberry because it makes good business sense.
I posted this from my Iphone 5, which in the corporate sector does not come close to the Blackberry I had. Will be getting the Z30 as soon as it arrives.

I think Blackberry has really tried with this device. It would have been a world beater if it was made in 2011 so.. bad timing. Samsung, Apple, LG are all ahead with specs already.
