I have installed 10.3.0.296 on yesterday, in my Z30. Have to say the improvement Blackberry made with this 'beta' version is amazing. New look and feel, improvements in camera, video player etc are noteworthy. In two years, evolution of this OS in features wise are tremendous. Feels like I am using a brand new phone.

And the keyboard is simply the best-- auto correct gets it right every time, the simplicity and productivity of the OS makes everything a breeze with the phone.
Only thing I wish BlackBerry improves on is the auto focus, I don't mind 8mp as it's decent enough for media and social usage (come on, we have real cameras for heavy photographing anyways right), but I always miss those crucial, spur of the moment event because of the quite slow focusing ability of the phone's camera. Otherwise it's the best phone I've used to date.

Best phone on the market so far, great for emails, video, pictures, social media,security, good battery life and fast processor what else could you ask for in a phone? The app store is however lagging behind, I hope they permit Android and Microsoft apps to work on BlackBerry once this is achieved the phone will be superior to all other devices of its time.

1st touch screen phone I've had after several keypad bb's and have to say its a great phone, does everything I want it to do and it does it fast. I use it as full on business device and it delivers on all levels. Best bb I've ever had.

Use 1MobileMarket app to download and install Android app in BB 10 OS.. this app contains all app(.apk) from google app store....

if these problems get resolved bb can be the best in all aspects.

Noone has actually said it is real anyway, its just a pure fantasy product, and its not from BB.
Some of the UI changes for the imaginary BB10.5 has already been tested on other phones, with disastrous results, like the swipe to switch between apps was present on the Nokia N9 and was terrible.
And the classic buttons, LOL, hope they never make the way to full touch BB devices.

I ask, because it's no secret that you can install any of the Android applications which run on 4.2 and above.
On average I get about 4 days regular use with a full charge on my Z30 which is on par with what a person in the office gets with her Note 3.

I switched from note 3 to BBz30 for a change. I missed the widgets, and flawless android apps. one thing you must know about this phone, no matter what, batterylife of this phone is way lower then note2

Linux use a socalled monolithic kernel where base functionality is compiled into the kernel at creation and later kernel modules can be loaded and unloaded to add/remove functionality.
QNX uses microkernels, which basically means that a small kernel with only the bare essentials is running and then the rest of the needed things are running as separate tasks called servers, one for each thing, when you for example switch on Bluetooth the bluetooth server will run, no need to load a kernel module or have it compiled into the kernel as you would have to with Linux/Android.
Oh, and QNX is older than Linux.
