They sent me the update to android 4.0.4 and it is really good, no more launcher home screen, it is stock android. It gets rid of lag, and there is a lot of improvement on speed and i think it helped with battery life but I'm yet to find out.
I'm trying to find a place to post the zip file but no luck. If anyone knows a place to post it let me know its a pretty big file (220 MB). Again this update is from BLU it is not a custom ROM, I had nothing to do with the update.

Hello guys,Please find below important ifos regarding this model (I have used one for last 1 month).
Both cameras are ok for distant pictures (beyond 1 m;
close-up pictures are not good.
Top issue by now:
It does not have Text to Speech menu available at "Language & Input", this bug needs to be included into next review.
Overal rating = Good product versus price (I recommend).

After sending BLU and email for the past month about the update they finally replied with this.
"Good Afternoon,
Thank you for contacting BLU Products. It is our pleasure to serve you.
We are currently working on this upgrade. Please send us an email next week requesting the information and we will send it. Or call us at 1-877-602-8762

I think i will email them as soon as possible (and update you guys).

This is a nice phone. I like everything about it...EXCEPT, the battery isn't very good. That's the only problem that I have with this phone.
