I have to revise my opinion of the phone's camera: The video is of very poor quality when using any decent settings (i.e. H264 at 720, or even MPEG4 at 480p). Very blocky, low frame rate; it's as if the processor can't keep up with the data input (Yes, I did try recording direct to internal memory so as to rule out slow SD card: no better). Still pictures are OK, but tend to be rather dark and missing detail at 5 MP AUTO settings. So, you wouldn't buy this phone for more than very casual use as a still camera, and probably only for send-by-message-or-email video.

I also have not been able to shoot pictures with flash, even when set to "On" rather than "Auto". Advise making sure you adjust the camera settings to best quality on both pictures and video to make the best of what the fixed-focus camera can do. Other than that, when I attempted to download YouTube, I was advised that I needed Google Play Services, which itself would not properly install. However, it hasn't kept YouTube from functioning normally. Skype works, as does Maps, Navigation, etc. So far, phone is very good value for its price.

The dash 4.0 doesn't support vcard Does anyone know of a work around ?

great phone for less than $120.00. most known communications applications work fine in this phone. Ihaven't been able to shoot using flash. No notification of low memory yet.

this is for those of you who want to know if the dash 4.0 comes with a screen protector.
the answer is "yes". the screen protector is already mounted on the phone and covered the entire face. but the big label is on the touchscreen portion and you need to use a blade or some flat solid object to peel off one edge of the label. once you get enough to hold with 2 fingers, hold the phone (top and bottom end down) and peel the hard label slowly. it worked fine for me.

I've had my Dash 4.0 for a few days and it is a nice device. The price makes it a great value. No complaints here! I'm using Red Pocket Mobile and this phone was almost totally automated with the network configuration.

To answer your question it does come with a screen protector but the sticker over the protector was a pain to take off so i just removed the screen protector all together, it was like they super glued the sticker on it.

I finally got the phone, and from a one day experience i think its a good phone especially for the price tag. Its smooth and sleek. The processor is good and fast, the camera is good but I'm still trying to figure out if it has touch focus of if it has any type of focus setting for the camera. Overall it's a good phone and it will do the job. After all it's not the S3 so don't expect it to do magical things.

Does this phone comes with screen protector or not some ppl say yes that is behind the sticker but soo far no answer and on ebay i just find screen protector for blu dash 3.5, dont know if its cuz this phone is relative new on market. Cuz if i cant get a screen protector i will just pass and buy another phone
