My dad got this as an extra backup phone and then ended up only using it for a few months before giving it to me to do whatever, it's a mediocore and not special phone from 2013 and I only really use it for testing things and trying out stuff.

I got mine in 2014 because I was attracted to the low price. While it lasted, it was a decent budget phone: nowhere near flagship specs, but it did its job (telephone, music player, Internet device). But the camera was mediocre, like something you'd expect from an old flip phone, and was too blurry to take pictures of text or scan a QR code. Fortunately I rarely take pictures with my phone, so it was something I could live with.
However, the phone quickly began showing its age after only 1 year. One day the power button jammed permanently, and ever since the phone would wake by itself occasionally. It even once called 911 in my pocket, because the screen came on and my leg pressed "Emergency Call". After that I had to make sure the screen faced out when the phone was in my pocket. The speaker also got horrible buzzing, making it unusable at any volume above half. The poor thing finally nailed its own coffin when the screen froze and turned white one day. Pulling the battery did not help; my phone was now dead in less than 2 years of use.
In short, you get what you pay for, and the Blu Studio 5.0 is proof of that. I do not recommend this phone to anyone, especially since there are budget models from the well-known brands that will last much longer.

Ugly emojis, YouTube videos freeze too much, especially when the viewers just want to skip to the near end, and Yahoo answers scroll back up on top. This service is extremely useless and should shut down forever and ever and ever. Whoever runs this pathetic phone should resign permanently in tears.

Yes, it has limitations but it's cheap like borsche. For about $14 you can buy a storage card at WalMart and apps are cheap. I only paid about $80 for mine. It's a great starter phone for kids and seniors.

Put in a micro SD card and move internal storage to that just check what max size SD card you can use.

well i have the blu studio g phone. and well im about to smash that damn phone.. this phone only had 4.00 internal storage,, and u can only download s many apps then all u get is that insufficent storage telling u to delete apps u dont use any more.. and thats ucks, i use every app i dl on phone... so yeah the blu studio g 5.0 sucks!!!!! not enough internal storage space on it!!!!

After an update was done. both sim card stop working . saying no service. Can't received or send out call. Needed help

So my blu studio c5+5 was working until I reboot my phone...
Sim2 just disappear... I'm not seeing or able to use sim2... Why is that??? I really love my phone because I'm able to use both cards but now... Ohhh boy!!!

I hate them the blue cell is trash you cannot depen on it. It doesn't hold a charge and get hot i think they need to take them off the markit before something bad hapen.

Anonymous, 24 Aug 2016Does this phone take good pictures?I got one. I love mine. I have cricket service. They sent me a free cricket phone. I didn't like it. It was cheap,screen small,and no flash. But my blu has all the features I want in a phone. I think it takes great pics. I got the small sim card I got it to work. U have to match the electrodes up. It works fine. The only thing that it does is drops signal every now and then. It does freeze sometimes. But so did my older phone that was the same android operating system. But since I got the new sim card it sped up a little. I'm not sure if its on 4g.but regardless I love my phone.

I was gifted one such phone. The life time is about one year. It could be less too. Mine lasted one year. Don't waste your money on BLU. They are bold enough to stop working when you most need its use. The motherboard for mine is damaged and I was advised by to buy a new phone but not a BLU. Be advised.

N@hom, 29 Jul 2016i update my blu studio 5 to 6 then it told me that it faile... moreI'm so disappointed in this phones can't download load any app it keeps saying storage full or delete some app when I may only have one. When you slide it it spine's so fast . deleted E mail it just returns next day very disappointed it take it to store o u hot to this got to do that and it never works any better.
