I came to this site for information and founds so many complaints! Is there no-one who can give constructive criticism or answers to questions! All our needs differs and no manufactuer will make the phone to meet our needs! So please stop the complaining. I bought my Studio 5.5 in the US and uses it in the UK. Never heard of Blu previously but the price was right! I have no complaints! It on par with the expenses phones on the market which after a short while is obsolete! Unless my phone can make my tea or a meal, I absoluetely refuses to pay the exorbiant prices bing ask for some of these phones! I LOVE MY PHONE.I should state however, that I realy send pictures or download as i carry out these tasks on my Laptop/tablet! Have a good day and smile!

I've had this phone for one month and the screen dont work i try to press one key and it presses another one and why can't I change the font on it ??!

omg.i am hating this phone someone plz help.....I bought the studio 5.5 and worked fine for three months now this dang thing is freezing and some of the letters wont work.i try to type d and get s and f .I have factory reset and did everything I could .also took back to the store I bought it from and got more aggervated when the sales clerk said o u must have dropped it or got water on it in which I have not done .then said well maybe a child messed it up....sorry no child to do such thing.....some one plz help

Just sent the Blu 5.0 11 back because a week after receiving it there started being black dots all over the screen and real glitchy, got the replacement today and five hours later same thing is happening!!!! Has anyone else had this problem??

I have had my phone for one week and it refuses to charge. IT is dead, and nothing I can do but try to get the company that makes it exchange it or find out what is wrong with mine. So happy you got a good one! I loved the phone but not if it won't work.

One week later it stops charging and will not come on. I contacted Walmart.com where I bought it with an extended warranty but Walmart says I must go to manufacturer because their warranty is valid for one year. Manufacturer says my imei number does not show up in their system! I am so frustrated with the company that makes this phone!!! It seems I am out the 129.47 I spent.

kitabooskie, 17 Jun 2014Hey how did u root it I am having the exact same problems I... moreYou can safely root the device fusing 2 options : KingoRoot (made by XDA devs. Must use your pc); or Framaroot.apk (can find it on XDA or google) when you launch the app, select boromir method and enjoy. I couldn't find kingo root on XDA, one of the devs pm'd the program name to me. I found the website using google.
I'm not sure what problem you think rooting will fix. But, this phone has many issues and for the sake of your own sanity, do not install a custom recovery. Their are no custom roms fully supported for it anyway. so why cause yourself more heartache? I regret not saving for a better phone. It almost never succeeds writing to my sd card. The internal memory is disgustingly small. Pictures I take only render halfway or less. Sometimes pics work for a while but the next day we're back to half pics.
Got it right before a vacation. Took tons of pictures with it. All lost. Dozens of memories gone forever. Customer service sucks. One reply per day of you're lucky. They will restore your phone for a small fee if you do manage to screw it up beyond your own abilities to repair it.
If it's not already too late, don't buy this phone. A flip phone and a cheap '97 laptop would save you a ton of trouble versus getting this phone.

lawrence, 17 Jun 2014I cannot delete my trash from gmail because there is no ico... moreMost of the problems we all have with this phone, can be solved if we connect it to a pc. Empty trash, memory storage etc. The screenproblem is solved, if you use the powerbutton before answering or talking on the phone. After using the phone, just lock te screen. The screen is sensitive and that helps us to scroll faster and easier. Every problem has a solution. We just make things difficult for ourselve sometimes. I have mine almost a year. In the beginning I had all of these problems. But I got to know my phone much better so now I'm enjoying it. No problems anymore
