I from Serbia. I have studio 5.3 II three months. My opinion is that for this price and this segment studio is best buy. I was installed many application (also Skype) everyone application work perfectly. Camera takes nice photo and nice video. I had suspected about 512MB internal memory, but until now, all work smoothly.In combination with Go Launcher Ex phone looks expensive and good.

I love my tablet and love my phone so I decided to dare and combine them both at a low cost right ?
I had heard reviews and seen videos about BLU phones. Coming for a Samsung guy, I had my doubts.... but I am one who always routes for the under dogs and especially if its open source.
I have had the 5.3 ii for about 2 weeks and love it ...Its a very exceptional phone. Looks good , feels good and is fluent enough to handle what I need. In other words, it does whats needed.
The screen size makes it perfect to watch movies and internet videos. Speaker and volume levels are good.I have seen better cameras in recent phones but this is not the worst 8MP, It does a good enough job. The dual core processor does a lot to boost the gaming experience.
Installed Need For Speed, which plays very well and all controls responsive.
Although, I have had 2 times that the whole phone has just glitched on me , both times when trying to send an email...... Automatically started typing random characters and symbols... continously. Only option was to hard boot ...removed battery. Was VERY concerning but not enough for me to send it back.
Final verdict : 7:10
Very good phone
PS: Hopefully, I just got a bad batch !

cofee, 12 Feb 2013it is an very good phone with all feauters waiting for rele... moreI purchased my studio last month at first it was shakie but when I change to straight talk the phone became faster no problems downloading again there are still some issue but I have a 1yr.warranty &,now I'm in contract with Blu,inc in Miami I'm gonna purchase the life one when it is release later this month im gonna give this 1,to my wife for the money &,the performance I'm quite satisfied with the Blu studio 2.

It doesn't support flash no matter how you download it .
Skype doesn't work.
Volume could be better.
No ring tone option.
And I just got this phone yesterday very displeased BC I found a lot of things wrong with it n plus there is a blue line running straghit down the center. So annoying!!!!!! @-@

I think that the only good thing about the 2nd blu 5.3 is it's camera it should have been 12 mega pix but the editing camera thing is great and that you can import audio with your video's when trying to edit and you can pause and take picture while taking a video.. but I hate that it doesn't have a home button and I have to reach the very top to unlock when I have to check for time and I hate how the camera is popping out, makes the phone uneven when I have lay it down.. I think they should make one like this but with 12 mega pix or more, home button and the features from the 1st blu 5.3 then it would probably perfect- oh and make it harder to break, because my first one I only owned for 2 months and it just fell from my lap and the whole screen was white.. and please make better looking cases for these especially an otter box if you can't make it stronger..

Thanks to GSMAreana.com for all the specs and the "Compare" feature! Owned this phone for less than a month and so far is pleased with the size, speed, and functionality. No bloatware. Simple, nice, and user friendly Android version.

I just got my phone about a month ago n it sucks really the screen just went blank out of no were n they say then cant fix it really? all the money gone to waste I sooo regret getting it my job depends on my phone n know I don't have one again this phone sucks

Had this phone just over a week now and very pleased so far, Having read many reviews of the original BLU Studio 5.3 the 5.3 11 Seems much better, it has a better spec, especially processor of course, battery life very good.
Just slight problems, GPS can take a few minutes to lock at times , although this seems common to a lot of Android devices,some web browsers crash, also a common Jellybean problem I have read about, found Opera to very stable though, Skype can be a problem signing in, also a common jellbean problem,The speaker is ok, but not the best, but sounds great with stock headphones.All in all so far so good for the price.

I've had the Blu Studio 5.3 I for about one year. It's been a good experience. Big screen, good memory, nice kernel features. No battery issues. Hope they release the source code to compile the kernel, most respectable companies release the source code.
No updates at all. If you email support they may answer you. They do have screen replacement for the blu studio 1 so this new model may have it too.

owned 5.3 5 months then it started killing batteries. Sent to Blu, they had it for 30 days and sent it back in the same condition. Sent it back to them. they had it for 30 more days and still not fixed. Now they say they don't have parts. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CARPET BAGGERS.

I have had the first blu 5.3 for little over a year. I love it. Blu support is so lame however not even the new phones are updated on their website. No support at all.
