BOE details new LTPO OLEDs for OnePlus 12 and Ace 3
BOE, Oppo and OnePlus held a joint press conference in China earlier today where we got some more details on the next generation of OnePlus devices. OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 3 will debut with BOE’s latest LTPO OLED displays dubbed X1 Oriental Screen.
OnePlus 12 will feature a 1,440 x 3,168px resolution while OnePlus Ace3 will offer a 1,240 x 2,772px resolution. Both panels will offer up to 2,600 nits peak brightness and will come alongside Oppo’s P1 display chip. The new panels received A+ certification from DisplayMate for exceptional brightness and color accuracy.
The new BOE-made panels boast sunlight highlighting algorithms and single-pixel calibrating technology ensuring each sub-pixel is calibrated independently for more accurate colors and less grain. BOE also detailed that its new displays consume 13% less power than previous offerings and are tested to last twice as long as competing OLED displays. The panels also feature class-leading high-frequency PWM dimming and blue light filtering.

Actually Sony is rather small compare to Samsung, but then large doesn't mean best.
