I always wondered how a bulldozer manufacturer can enter the mobile phone market. After having bought a CAT S30, I stopped wondering. Put simply, they failed.

First smart phone I ever bought was the CATS30, just wanted something basic and affordable to have for work.
After 16 months, the battery life once it is charged to 100% it only last 7-8 hours of idle time.
Hence, time to replace phone. But this time won't be buying a CAT. Instead going to get a Samsung A21.

No NFC on this phone.. So that leads to another problem. Google app store says that Google pay is not available in my country. Slow, laggy shit.

Cat S60 Bluetooth wil not under any circumstances connect to car,headphones,or Garmin forerunner.
Pocket dials everyone.
Putting it back in cupboard and using old iPhone.connects everyone without fail

I used S30 from last 3 1/2 years I think it is a good phone. Wifi is good and fast. I try depatch water and also dust but it looks a strong phone. Stronger than other. I like it.It is best best best phone other than more over his volume is low but voice is very clear. It is very good phone .

Not robust at all in my case. Dropped 1metre on a rubber mat and microphone stopped working.

The video capabilities of this phone is nowhere near 1080p@60fps, there is no such option on it. The most you can do is to set it on 720p@30fps.

I did not know other people have had similar crap to me.
The CAT S30 has been a Nightmare!
Mine has been replaced by CAT, it was a complete Nightmare to get them to even except it back for repairs ....even with a 2 year Warranty.
To say Customer Service with CAT is POOR is an Understatement!
I will Never purchase another CAT product!
Even after CAT replaced my CAT S30 ....The New one has started to Freeze up and keeps turning off, ....and it's Only about 6 weeks old!
The CAT S30 is just a pile of Poop, just like Customer Service at CAT!
I paid £154.95 from Carphone Wharhouse Online, they did not want nothing to do with me when I called and asked for help, so I will Not buy from them again!
They got out of it by saying it's under warranty so you'll have to contact CAT
YES they are correct, but they are very fast to take your order and money, anything goes wrong and they don't want to know.
I'm looking at getting the iPhone 6S ....Ive read loads of good reviews on it.
I'm sick of CAT and I'm sick of Google .... it's time to try Apple and an iPhone.

The CAT S30 is so Irritating it makes you want to put a bullet in it!
I had problems within 8 months of buying mine because of storage space.
It won't let you move Google Apps to the SD Card, so that's No help!
Google are a pain in the rush to say the least!
I'm about to try an iPhone, see what Apple are like.
My CAT S30 had to go in for repairs just after 1 year, they replaced it but now the New one keeps Freezing up and turning it's self off.
I'm finished with CAT and Google!
I think the problems are with CAT'S Crappy Software, and Google Apps I guess.
It constantly keeps telling me Google Chrome is not responding.
But because it's Android and Google Apps it would not let me put another web browser on it like Firefox.
Maybe some others may work on it but all in all Crap Software, Only 1 GB of Memory, Only 8 GB of Storage then all ya BS from Google is a recapy for a load of Crap!
I guess it Cheap end Bull Crap!
Mine was £154.95 here in UK, the iPhone 6S I'm looking at is £299
That's nearly double but I guess you get what you pay for.
I've read a lot of reviews for the iPhone 6S and they look real good!

I've had it for a couple of years. I've dropped it dozens of times, had it in pocket with keys, coins, etc, still not a scratch, so from hardware stand point it's a great phone. However the software runs like trash. It was relatively good when it came out, but over the years google added too much bloatware. Every app and web page demands more memory and CPU than a couple of years ago, and this phone simply doesn't have enogh.
If you reset it to factory settings and just let it finish all updates, it will start complaining about low storage space.
It can still perform basic operatios like phone calls, messaging and web browsing, but even this is slow, choppy and with constant hang ups.
You can install additional sd card, but it won't help much because android 5.1 doesn't yet allow you to move built-in android apps to sd card.
So if you need it for most basic things, like phone calls, messaging, GPS... it will work, but it will do it poorly and slowly.
And another thing.. the side buttons are a PITA. It's too easy to press them by accident.
