I've had prepaid gas station phones that worked better than the Cat S30. However I will say it's the toughest phone I've ever had. It Aggravated me to the point of punching it, throwing it, slamming it and even stomping on it, (not all at once). The a screen is still in tact, the casing is too. It still operates worse than anything I've ever had before but hasn't gotten any worse.

I think it is a good phone. Wifi is good and fast. I dont try water and dust but it looks a strong phone. Stronger than other. I like it.

Worst phone ever. No memory so cannot update any apps. Seriously worst camera around. Terrible video quality. This phone is even slower that Nokia 3310.Will never buy this brand again. Terrible battery and overheats after about 6 months. Slow slow slow!!! Takes about 10 minutes to reboot until you can actually use it. Piece of junk.

Worst phone that I have ever bought,customer service is lousy just like the phone.Memory is pitiful,it freezes,dials out when you haven't,struggle to answer incoming calls if you are on it at the time,lousey speaker and the return key has lost it's spring so it has to be pushed hard.And that's just what I can think of at present!

I purchased the S30 in September 2017 from Cat Phone sales. It took a month to make it to me. Crap customer support!
On my first use it fell on the floor of my clean car. I picked it up to find the screen all scratched up. I have owned 2 Cat B15 phones that have rolled around my farm truck, been drove over with farm tractor, and they still don't have scratches with NO screen protector.
I don't know what CAT has done with the inferior glass use but the new S30 scratches like a piece of fine china.
I called on the warranty. The phone was supposed to come with a screen protector and did not. My B15s never came with one nor had one. Customer service wants me to ship my phone back to them and be without a phone for 3 weeks to get a new glass screen!
INFERIOR product that should not need fixing when it hasn't even been used yet.

Got my S30 in Aug '17. After 3 months the speaker (buzzer) got broken and sounds poor.

i like JESY J9S, this is a great buy for travelers who love exploring the world and going into dangerous and uncommon conditions as this device can become a very good companion for them.

My S30 has performed flawless since I got it six months ago. At least for its price.
Great loud sound and reception, everything works, great battery life. I haven't really exposed it to abuse, so I can't vouch for the durability - but it feels like a Jeep and I like the grip-friendly chunkiness. It is not as heavy as one expect when seeing it first.
The only complaints I have is that the power button is a bit sensitive - it activates at light pressure, like when grabbing the phone in the pocket.

His middle button is stuck in the pressed position and barley works. And the stats on the phone is worse than my iPhone 5s it is from 2013.

Crap, speaker died several months after use, freezes very often, lags badly.

Crap. Very slow, the screen is not as durable as expected - get scratched just when puted on table. It does not react on touching on both sides of screen. Low on memory, have to clean cache very often. Some times it overheated when Wi-Fi and mobile data was enabled. Side buttons could be harder to press because more than once it suddenly get in standby when I barely touched power button. And turned down volume while phone was in pocket.
And it is SO SLOOOOW realy mega slow.
So, do not buy that s**t.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2017My s30 phone has a problem of a speaker me too. i have to put the phone on speaker when answering a call as otherwise i wouldn't be able to hear the caller.

My s30 overheats for absolutely nothing!!! If its on charge and i answer a call it says battery temperature dangerously high and if i carry it in my pocket close to my body it says that as well... And my speaker makes the weirdest sounds ut sounds like its about to explode.... I have to keep it on silent permanently
