Product manager shares more camera samples from the vivo X200 Ultra
Product manager Han Boxiao continues to tout the low-light performance of the company’s upcoming camera flagship by sharing photos on Weibo. Previously, Han shared photos comparing the vivo X200 Ultra to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Canon 5D Mk IV.
The latest post is all about the vivo X200 Ultra with three photos shot in challenging conditions. These were shot with the ultra-wide camera, which uses the same 50MP Sony LYT-818 1/1.28” sensor as the main camera and has a 14mm Zeiss lens with optical image stabilization.
As to why there is no comparison with other cameras this time, Han writes (machine translation): “PS. I also took ultra-wide photos of the same scene with other phones, but after looking at them, I decided not to post them—it would be too unfair.”
Of course, the CEO of the company might be biased in favor of the vivo X200 Ultra. The vivo X200 Pro didn’t wow us with its ultra-wide camera, but it only has a tiny ISOCELL JN1 1/2.76” sensor, so the Ultra should be in another world in terms of performance.
In case you haven’t been following, the vivo X200 Ultra will have two dedicated camera chips with the familiar vivo V3+ acting as a classic ISP for post-processing and a new vivo VS1 for pre-processing. Also, all three cameras (main, ultra-wide and periscope) will have OIS, check out the stabilization demo from yesterday.
